I think we should have a thread for Poch press conferences so we can discuss specifically all the things he covers

There's being direct and then this.WOW Puts the players out there for possible suitors but also might mean another chairman trying to lowball Levy. This could get very interesting

Blimey, shooting from the hip there, 'tino! So was he asked, specifically, about N'jie, Pritch, Bents and Fazio by a reporter, or was this a general question about the "missing players" and he volunteered the names?

I'm only going on what's available from the press conference in Australia, but it appears he was asked specifically about those four players.

Its interesting all the different interpretations that people are putting on these players are if they are going or not! Poch knows what he wants and where he wants the team to go. So enjoy the ride and stop stressing out, he is the man and we are lucky to have him. COYS

Not too worried about Fozzy Bear and Pritchard. The former was temporary gap fill and the latter was over hyped on here to extremis - it was laughable.

But Nabil, you idiot you, you could have been so good for Spurs! Sad to see the lad go because when he gets his shit together he is going to be one very good player. Pity.

I'm sad Bentaleb will probably leave, but there's obviously more than meets the eye between he and Poch. Attitude issues probably.

i am surprised about Bentaleb. I wonder who we have in the plans to play in the middle alongside dier or wanyama when dembele is not starting. Alli,Onomah or mason perhaps.

I really don't understand people liking Bentaleb, I thought he was bang average.
He's 21 years old, and he played with great maturity a couple of seasons ago considering he was 19 back then. Made one of the CM spots his own. There's no doubt for me that he's talented.

Maturity is great and at such a young age.. but what's his CM role, what's his position? I really can't see what he excels at..

Why are you surprised about Bentaleb, when both his agent and him got the high pay-rise after 2014 season he had to deliver. Unfortunately he put country first got injured and expects Spurs to pick up the pieces.

-Left footed which helps the balance of the CM2
-Decent distributor of the ball (if anyone mentions that ONE pass against Utd again :banghead:) He gives it away occasionally but so does everyone else.
-Very composed, certainly more calm on the ball than Mason and Dier.
-Doesn't have any particular weaknesses to his game, he isn't bad at anything apart from finishing maybe which isn't so important for a central midfielder.
-Always worked his bollocks off when i've seen him play and never seen any signs of a poor attitude on the pitch.
-He's aggressive and doesn't take any shit
-He is 21 years old so there is still massive scope for improvement. I think he will only get more consistent in his performances.

His head is probably not in the mood to buckle down and work ! He is technically better than both Carroll and mason , but the " heart " is just not right

I just assume Poch knows what he is doing. Was hoping Pritchard was given a chance, but if poch and the coaches doesnt think hes good enough ill settle with that.

I dont think he said that so bluntly in that manner. Im sure the media exaggerated it.

That said, its sad that he doesn't see Nabil having a future. There must be something else we dont know about him because talent-wise he is up there among the best apart from those few sillly goal-conceding moments. Shame.

Very disappointed two talented players from our academy are going to be let go. I prefer to keep them longer rather than replace them with another two players with potential. Or maybe they won't be replaced, just sold to balance the books.
