Go back to 2018/19, we made no signings summer or winter, had delays to the stadium, most of our starting 11 went deep into the world cup, Son was off to the Asian games, Kane is injured again, Alli injured a patched up CM and yet despite that we were in a title race in Feburary.

I've been a fan of the way Levy has run the club, but he is the reason we have lost the best manager I've witnessed in the 30 odd years I've supported Spurs.

For what it's worth, I spoke to Micky Hazard last night and asked him if Poch would be given time to turn things round and his answer was a definite 'yes'. He also basically said it would cost too much money to pay him off and get someone else in.
I guess we can put to bed the idea that ex-players are in any way ITK then ;)

Man U and perhaps Arsenal have a tricky decision to make now.
A re-energised Pochettino would give both of them a big boost in the short term.

he wouldn't go to arsenal surely??? He might be pissed at Levy (justifiably IMO), but the fans loved him to bits

Just to follow up on this, apparently a few hours before Poch was sacked Graham Roberts went on some sort of rant claiming he knew for a fact that Poch would be given time to turn things around lol.

Especially considering it seems like this wasn't exactly a short term decision by either of the parties involved.

From what's been said, it was a stand off between club and manager (rather than Poch having nail marks in the floor), and that the Mourinho contact has been doing on for some time.

Makes you wonder if it was what Aulas hinted at.

What pisses me off is buying Poch's book written by Ballague who appeared to be itk on a few things who 20 mins before the sacking put a video up on youtube saying he wont be sacked etc

I want my money back for the book NOW.

I wouldn't say "written", but "compiled".

I was very confused about a book that was essentially Poch's diary printed by Ballague being credited as Ballague's book - especially when he dragged Poch to all the pressers for it, like some sort of publisher.

Utd nailed on imo. Matter of time until Solskjaer gets the tin sack and wouldn't be surprised if Poch has already been told to be on standby in terms of taking up the reigns over there. Utd give him the opportunity to regularly challenge for league/champions league, Arsenal don't imo.
