The same Arsenal currently five points ahead of us in the league with a far inferior squad?
That’s a false equivalence, Ron - Arsenal are seen to be underperforming under their current manager. The statement was to suggest that if we were to get rid of Poch we may end up in a similar situation as Arsenal - underperforming under a new manager who was supposed to be the one to fix their problems.

Whether we’re doing well or badly now, whether Arsenal are doing well or badly now, and most pertinently whether they are doing better than us now is not relevant.

I've changed my vote to out! I was so hoping he would be able to turn it around but he keeps picking players that dont want to be at the club and it's doing my head in! And his substitutions what the f?! And that comment he made before the final!:banghead: I let that slide at the time as he did get us there but thinking back at it now it's just so unbelievable that he could say such a thing!

Although you could say some things that have happened haven't helped the club in a few games but that's just football and using excuses, you make your own luck and we cant keep blaming refs and var, every team in the league suffers the same as we do.
I'm going to the game on sat and I'm dreading it! I'm really thinking it will be his last, at the end of the day all the top teams change managers and they still manage to stay at the top we've kept ours and were closer to the bottom than the top and I just cant see it getting better with him in charge the last year has been hard the football hasnt been good either other than a few games here and there, but were so predictable in our play I know teams set out their stall against us but you dont see city chelski or liv struggling against these teams!
I've been a yid my whole life so I've seen the Barron years but we should have gone up a level we should be fighting for champs league every season at least! not saying we will but it's what the minimum requirement is now, also when things on the pitch haven't been good for nearly a year you have to look at the manager!

So I'm sorry I'm in the poch out brigade now, I appreciate what hes done for us as a club tho but it's time to let a new manager take the reigns one that will at least try to win something! I'm not his fave fan but I'd go as far as saying Mourinho might be a good bet! Even if just to get a trophy in the effing cabinet to shut those twats up nearby! But levy and co will need to get the cheque book out again I'm afraid will lose a lot of money as I doubt well get anything for Jan, toby and erik and that's at least 120 million worth of talent there but no one will come in for them in jan window they will go for free tbh.
I will say I'm not a person who boos the team, I'll always try and support the players but it's been hard lately I'm paying top dollar to watch the team and for what? To watch players that dont want to play for us stroll about like they are on a sunday stroll and he allows it!!

Rant over! Sorry if I offended anyone just needed to air my views! Thanks for listening

COYS!!!

We have now become a team where finishing in the top 4 is EXPECTED every season and while that in itself is extremely positive we have no right whatsoever to be in such illustrious company when comparing our spending since Mauricio took over. IMHO, as supporters, we get behind the guy and allow to him to finish his rebuilding, because the alternative will bring chaos to our new 5 year plan.
I so wish I could agree with you, but I cant anymore

He keeps sticking with players that dont want to be at the club, and it's getting annoying now.

I am still in the Poch stay camp even though i am frustrated by the bizarre pressers, the terrible way he handled the CL final, his hopeless in game management, the awful way he has been setting up teams. He has earned the right to turn it around inspite if all this but I think that’s a timeline that cuts in at Xmas. He hasn’t got forever to deliver.

Starting Kane ahead of Moura, was that bad management?

I'm gonna revote on Saturday.

If it's the right line up, a positive performance and at least a draw I'll be back to Poch In.

If he starts Eriksen et al and it's a dire performance I shall stick to out.

Wasn't match fit and shouldn't of started, we were effectively playing with 10 men. When he decided to bring Lucas on he should of brought Kane off but decided otherwise. Liverpool played firminho who was also returning from injury, but looked clearly unfit, they replaced him with origi who scored late on.

So, after last night’s match at Red Star, Poch’s approval rating stands at 57.9%. The margin now stands at 15.8% down from 18% after the Everton game.

I changed my vote to out as I can't see a manager turning things around after poor performances for this long.

But I am still partially on the fence.

I'm still Poch IN.

The reason we have Ndombele and Lo Celso is Poch. If he has a little more time to bring in a few players after 6 years at the helm I think we could see something special - especially if as Trix and Herc have been saying, he drops his stubborn position on team setup.

Sometimes life gives you lemons. Poch now needs to make lemonade.

Got to give him at least the January window to see what sea change he intends/see if any movement on outs. Any new manager would just inherit some of the same problems (with players who need to go).

He has 7 weeks from now to improve results and performances with what he has. If he cant then we need a new manager who can sign players he wants in the Jan window. Poch has definitely built up credit for what he has done with us so far which is why Levy has given him more time. If he was a manager that came in January he would be out the door by now

I feel a big part of his challenge is showing he can coach the current group to perform as a team. If he can't do that then his position as the man to rebuild us severely weakens.

I believe he still has a talented squad and many players still want to be here. He has to start getting it right.

Been 'out' since this thread started. There's no way back for Poch, he's too far gone. It's the truth. He could potentially succeed elsewhere but with the deep shit we're in right now I just don't think he has the ability to correct things. So many rookie mistakes being made.
