I don't know how you can say that when it's been clear from previous games that Ndombele starts blowing up very early in games that require hard defensive cover.

Blame it on our fitness team, sure, but don't pretend its not been a problem up until now.

Personally I'd play him anyway because I fucking love his passing range and vision but I ain't the manager and I don't have to account for when team structures break down because a central lynch pin can't go when others can.

He can play 60 mins again Liverpool for fuck sake.

He played 90 mins against Man City. 2nd game of the season.

It's absolute nonsense. Laughable even.

We don't know the exact extent of Ndombele's fitness levels.

What we do know though is that Poch constantly rotates even when there's adequate recovery between games.

It's like that's his priority before anything else, even the suited tactical approach for any given opponent.

I think we do know Ndombele's fitness levels by seeing him blow up early in games. This has been obvious since pre-season and isn't a surprise nor a slur on Ndombele. It MAY be an issue for our fitness teams and coaching but to pretend Ndombele is as fit as our other midfielders is just ridiculous.

But he IS better than most of our midfield. So... bit of this bit of that...

And he was utterly useless second half because he was blown up!

Like I said - I would have started him (please remember this bit) but to suggest he's anywhere near the fitness levels a Poch squad requires is ridiculous.

This might be an issue of formation or gameplan - but they are separate debates.

Anyway the guy's a baller and if he ever achieves premium fitness levels (Pep/Poch/Klopp levels) he'll fucking beast this competition.

Huh?

What exactly am I saying that is "daft"? I've seen Ndombele play every game since pre-season. H'es not got the tank YET to play the formation/set up Poch plays.

Change Poch or the formation/set up if you want. That's not my argument. I'm just saying how it currently is with Poch in charge.

fucking hell...

I don’t see how January is gonna change much, how many of these players do you genuinely see leaving in January ?
Probably Eriksen and Rose. Toby will hold out for the free. Hopefully some schmuck will buy Aurier.

I think you’re being optimistic onEriksen leaving there, Ican’t see anyone he wants to sign for paying money for him.

I really don’t see much happening in January in terms of outs

Right or wrong, that's why he didn't start today. People wana call it garbage or whatever but it's just the reason.

Had this row in the pub with my brother. When does the line get drawn?
After the Newcastle loss I said Poch has lost it I can't see him resolving it but I'd look to replace now before it ruins our season and now here we are at the brink of the season being a right of and Poch still in charge not learning from his mistakes and spiralling further

Lol this thread....''you can change your vote,''..... whats this Brexit?

Asking today's fans to change their vote on a manager is a car crash , with each win or defeat the poll will change

Son scores that sitter and the opinion of Poch changes in a heartbeat.....

My take re Poch's team selection is that he is very influenced by politics rather than assessing the oppo and selecting accordingly. His style is to be close to the players and he's very concerned about upsetting anyone . He'd even play an unfit favourite forward in a CL final over a hat trick scorer in previous round ( I note Van Dijk recently saying he knew Kane wasn't fit for that match)

So Poch hopes to avoid probs with his players by running a sort of...who's turn is it this week system . Wish he wouldn't .

There is no manager that doesn’t have to take into account the dressing room politics and personalities involved, though. While it’s easy to sit online and select teams, the reality is that when dealing with actual people the whole thing is more complicated.

I'm not going to actively call for it, but if there's no visible change against Everton, then there's not a lot else that can be argued about if he goes.
