Tottenham's players are blaming the intensity of their training schedule for the club's poor start to the season, with a number of them unhappy at the lack of time off they are given by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

That’s from Matt Hughes who seems to have moved from the Times, where he regularly besmirched us, to the Mail. Ignore.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Out of interest, because media sources are generally met with scepticism on here, are there any journalists who are more reliable when reporting on Tottenham?

Yawn...Nothing has changed over the years, we've always had high intensity training and double sessions so all of a sudden its a problem now? Nah not buying...

I don't buy this "they all hate Tottenham" bollocks, but a straight answer to your question is "Jonathan Liew".

Only acceptable ones are those that don’t have the cheek to report anything negative about the club at all.

Basically Anything positive = good piece of journalism, that backs up my thoughts
Anything negative = dreadful and agenda driven drivel.

Doesn’t matter how well researched, written and thought out the piece may be or not, the above overrides that on here

Maybe this is true but the thing is to look and see what the players all talk about and what Poch talks about and then watch the games and decide what the result is.
The players all have had great things to say about Poch but over the past season we have started hearing some more negative things. Trippier also alluded to something before or just after he left as well.
So what is happening on the field?
When Poch came,he came with a plan. He took our players new and old and he made them fit, strong, and tight. It worked! We physically beat teams in defence and then sprang our forwards forward up the field. They in turn pressed the life out of the opposition to keep the ball at the other end.
It was perfect.
So what have we don't since then? Not much. Our defence is now not strong, our pressing is not anything special as all teams now press but the biggest thing is we haven't developed more advanced strategies even though Poch wants to.

Not entirely sure how you can blame the intensity of the sessions when you're paid to be razor sharp? Seems contradictory to me considering the press conferences are generally postive.

Training has to be sharp & intense, even more intense than the games, so that when it comes to match day the conditions don't overwhelm the players.

Actually, I've been waitng so long for Spurs to develop a half decent team that I ; (a) sometimes get angry/ mad at them and their organization, or, (b) I just give up with them.
Right now it's starting to look like option (b)...........
However, they so often surprise us all; hey, maybe l wil l hang in there until the Jan. window!!!

From watching them it looks exactly like they don’t won’t to do what Poch tells them anymore
You can see many of them strolling. Picking their wages up week in week out for little effort.

Pochs philosophy and style demands bloody hard work and falls down without it. Not really rocket science. The best teams work bloody hard!

Poch saw it and wanted them out

The club thought better. Here we are....

This is our problem. None of our players are taking responsibility. Blaming others.
