Numberwise probably better from midfield than from defence or attack. We still have Bergvall, Sarr and Maddison. Bentancur ought to be back right about now. Kulu can feature there should we use Son / Moore on flanks and with Davies back (on PL where Spence is eligible) Gray can also feature on midfield.

Yep, either our medical team are directly cutting our players hamstrings with scissors whilst they sleep or Ange’s training and style of play is to blame.
Or maybe the knock on effect of having no subs is impacting the ability to rest players.

Guess what if you look at udogie, vdv and Romero they all had injuries before coming to spurs and all have them after.

The player that runs the most in the squad doesn't have a hamstring injury and neither does dom solankie who probably runs the second most.

Funnily enough Porro doesn't either. If it was just training theyd all have them.

Surely no one thinks this is just luck now?

The amount of mid to long term muscle injuries is insane.
At this point I don’t think it’s just on Ange. If it’s true that Ange leaves a lot of the day to day to the coaches then they are just as culpable as are the medical staff.

It’s hardly surprising given how threadbare we are but getting beyond ridiculous now.

The muscle injuries are self perpetuating now - the squad is so threadbare that we're forced to play the same players over & over, pushing the only ones we have left closer to the treatment room each week.

As much as I think Ange's system is due a large part of the blame, he hasn't really got a choice but to play them at this point.
Whether he's here or not moving forward, we vitally need a few players through the door or we'll be barely be able to put a match day squad together soon.

I think there are more muscle injuries in epl football as a whole than ever before.
Also other injuries - such as acl seem to be more common. I think the number of fixtures, the amount of time stood around whilst VAR checks are carried out, the increased speed of players, in my opinion all are part of the reasons there are so many injuries, marry that to a high energy style of play and that’s why players are getting injured so frequently. Take Sunday for example - waiting around for the assistant to sort his communication system out.

Jesus, what we think of the player aside, Bissouma is a fit, fit lad and in great nick.

He never gets injuries, does he? It's beyond bizarre at this point.

Can’t rely on him, too error-prone and inconsistent despite the wonderful play from him in Ange’s first few games.

Think it’s best for all parties we sell in the summer.
