He got a hospital pass with nowhere to go. I’m really interested to know the player who is consistently put into that position and never gives it away.
I'm sorry but he had so much time to make a pass there or dribble away from Partey as he gave him space. His decision making isn't good enough. He got a hospital pass with nowhere to go. I’m really interested to know the player who is consistently put into that position and never gives it away.
Ah great, so with 3 players round him and not wanting to go backwards to his young CBs, what should he have done? One that doesn’t turn into the packed middle of the pitch?
Easy for me to say, sitting on my fat arse watching the match with the benefit of seeing most of the pitch, a hacked punt away in the direction he was facing is what I was shouting at the TV for him to do (you could see what was about to happen if he turned inside).Ah great, so with 3 players round him and not wanting to go backwards to his young CBs, what should he have done?
Have you learnt nothing from Jenas, Dier, Johnson etc al.I think we all know by now he’s not good enough . His turn into trouble giving the ball away for the second goal sums him up . I wouldn’t bother writing about him anymore
Busquets and modric make careers out of being in this positionsHe has been asked to play with his back to goal and turn his way out of trouble or pass it out, it didn't work this time because he hesitated due to a spence stumble
BUT Partey played the perfect press
Spence passes the ball

He is about to the play the ball(he opens his body to spence) before he gets it but stops because spence stumbles

He turns and sees Partey in front of him, Partey has the forward pass covered at this point and angle is too tight View attachment 150321
He shift his body right as doesn't think he can do the pass, Partey fully ready and will close down as soon as he think bissouma is going to make a touch

At this point Partey has decided to press him and close down the space, Bissouma doesn't have a good touch

Look I think people will blame bissouma but Ange wants us to play high risk football, when it comes off its beautiful when it doesn't, it looks clunky
I personally dont think you can play it unless you constantly rotate but that's my opinion
Partey was slow today, we saw Sarr run from our box to theirs without Partey closing him down. Your last screenshot shows how much space Bissouma had to move the ball into ao thats all he had to do. He knew he had 3 men around him as he played frist time passes to Spence so why all of a sudden did he think he had time.He has been asked to play with his back to goal and turn his way out of trouble or pass it out, it didn't work this time because he hesitated due to a spence stumble

But I cannot see Ange will keep picking him if he does that?Easy for me to say, sitting on my fat arse watching the match with the benefit of seeing most of the pitch, a hacked punt away in the direction he was facing is what I was shouting at the TV for him to do (you could see what was about to happen if he turned inside).
Ridiculous unserious comment. If he spent as much time training on how not to give away stupid fouls and lose the ball . As he does on his fucking hair . Then he might be a better player
Obviously wouldn’t want our players panicking by lashing the ball away repeatedly, but rare occasions call for safety measures. It’s something that’s clearly drilled into our players not to do, so it appears to be more on our coach than the players themselves. But I cannot see Ange will keep picking him if he does that?
Yeah, I especially advise against any late-night Parteys.what they do in their spare time is none of our business ... as long as it's legal.
