Good that he’s scored again. Regardless of what level he’s playing at, goals from him is a bonus.

I thought he started to look better right at the end of last season. Continued that improvement with his pre-season and early season form too.

Scored again today , only goal of the game.

Then went off in the 67th minute with many reporting injury . Some that someone just stood on his foot

Surprised this hasn't been bumped... his tackle to regain possession before the third goal was exquisite, especially considering he'd been booked.

Was good. But shouldn't have picked up that booking really, was stupid. he's shown a lot of improvement though, and seems to be getting nearer to the form we've seen before..

You what? He came in way too late and very hard. Clear yellow.

Hard? You're taking the piss. Yeah he was late, but barely touched Damsgaard and it was his first foul.. Never a yellow.

Yep was a soft one, and annoyingly about 5 mins later Konak emptied one of our players and gets away without so much as a talking to, refs in this league are fuckin shit.
I do wonder about this. The Brentford fans were abusing the ref as much as the spurs fans.

I always watch the big international games and think the standard is way higher. Im wondering if its not, and i have no bias, so i can see it from a more level point of view.

Damnsgaard sold it. Ref bought it. Then their player wiped out Udogie for an even worse challenge and the ref gave him a pat on the back.
I'm not complaining about Bissouma's yellow, he was late and it was unnecessary, but the one on Udogie was indeed much worse. Looked on the replay like the ref didn't even see it, and he showed similar lack of awareness several times.

Edit: Great game from Bissouma btw.

This is another of my gripes with refs and when you can tell they haven't played the game.

A sub comes on and he has to get up to the speed of the game, therefore it's quite normal for them to be late to a challenge.

Instead of just a stern warning, they get booked and are now 1 bad decision away from a red despite just entering play. Potentially ruining the 60/70 mins of control/effort their team had put in.

Just no common sense at all.

It wasn't a yellow for me just based on the challenge, but surely you can't be giving out cards depending how long a player has been on the pitch in the same way a shit challenge 10 seconds in should still be penalised the same as in the 90th min for consistency's sake. If you're late and it's a bad challenge then it should be a yellow for anyone whenever it happens and whoever does it or it's simply not fair and consistent imo.

Yeah, of course. If it's a bad challenge then yeah it's probably a yellow.

But I'm specifically talking about tackles like Bissouma's. It was just late, that's all.
