Page 64 - Odobert’s back, woo hoo
Page 65 - Odobert’s fucked again 🤣🤣

No idea when he’ll be back but he’s a kid, a player for the future and not someone to fix our glaring wide forward issues in the present. Heavy investment is still needed.

The same area, but not the same injury....

Hmm....its possible he came back too early.

You wouldn't be a Tottenham fan if you thought this on Thursday.

Me to myself "Great to have all of Odobert, Moore and Son available on that left-side were really sorted there now so that's probably the end of Werner"

Me just after thinking that "Watch one of those get injured now"

Too good to be true.

But more frustratingly is we need Odobert to develop, so he needs to be playing frequently. This season was more about him etting up to speed and showing he can be a future star for us. Another big setback and we probably won't see him develop until next season.

I'm fairly sure Sessegnon had an injury when we signed him. Hamstring or thigh, can't remember which.

Yep, we signed him after he’d had a major hamstring injury and hadn’t fully recovered from it. Pre his first hamstring injury he looked a real talent but as soon as the first one went he was plagued by them which ultimately cost him his Spurs career.

I was kind of expecting something more like a metatarsal injury after the contact with their keeper. We truly are cursed.

We must be cursed as a club. Cant think of another club that has signed so many players that are then broken within weeks of joining.

Lamela
Sess
Lo celso
Solomon
Richi
Odobert

Just off the top of my head. Its like the min we spentmd some money on player this happens. Hopefully he comes back stronger for it. Just unfortunate that its in the one position where we need cover
Bale too.

A real shame for him personally just after he got back. If anyone at the club was srsly relying on him staying healthy wrt team success though that points to a big dropped bollock in the transfer window and nothing else.

Honestly there is either a curse at this club or our medical team is absolute dog water, it has been going on for years.

i am going to go with cursed as Solanke was made of iron before he came to us and got injured in his first game.

rotten luck.

Not surprised he didn't make the squad tonight, but I was holding onto a glimmer of hope that he may be back sooner than it sounds.

Did you miss the news that he's had a "serious" set back in the form of another hamstring injury?

Every club can name several players that constantly get injured. As @EQP pointed out in another thread, there are currently 12 other clubs who have just as many or more injuries than we do.

Please don't start introducing facts into the argument. Heaven knows where we will end up if we keep using facts.

Not such good news on Wilson.

Postecoglou:

"No real time but it is significant. It's a rare occurrence so we will have to be conservative, You don't want to put a time frame on it."
