Gutted for lad and for us; he was at least part of the solution to our attacking woes.
This may sound harsh, but in his brief appearances so far I’m yet to see anything from him that tells me this would have been the case. Obviously we are yet to see him settled in and playing to his best, so I’m not writing him off at all. But I don’t know how anyone can say he’d be the solution to our problems. It’s just far too early to tell either way. Much like with Solomon this time last year, the sample size is tiny, so we don’t know how effective he will be.

Very disappointing for him to be injured though, hopefully it’s not as bad as feared.

Playing him LW, his best position, against Everton immediately improved the team and created space for our other attackers. Even though he’s raw, just by having the right profile he helped us a lot when he was LW in that match.

Sounds like the swelling hasn’t gone down enough to do a scan which isn’t good.

Pretty sure we are looking at 6 weeks minimum but more likely 2-3 months.

Like I said. The sample size is too small. I’m not sure a few good moments against Everton really proves any points tbh.

They said "part of" the solution. I don't know how people can watch his performances and be "yet to see anything", but I guess that is why football is interesting.

What @Nick-TopSpursMan alluded to.

A wide player who fits the remit for Ange's system more than any other even if it's raw ability.

Our only player that seemed he would have the potential do something exciting. What a shame.

Just left with direct runners who seem adverse to taking on a fullback now.

have some humor, you may live a little longer. What's unnecessary is the holier than tho attitude
Drop the ignorance. It's 2024, it takes a few seconds of internet searching to understand what is and isn't acceptable in society. See below response for full details, or simply just educate yourself better.

I can accept your comment! Please, kind sir, allow me to seek clarity & enlightenment:
What's that saying about sarcasm being the lowest form of wit...

So is it ok to call him miserly? Tight-fisted? Greedy? Self-serving? Is it ok to call him deluded for telling us he's a spurs fan but then trying his best to screw spurs out of any football success & instead granting himself ridiculous bonuses, building hotels, etc. All at the expense of the footballing side; in his position, no real fan would do those type of things until after they ensured success on the pitch was achieved.

Can we call him a liar because he consistently says he wants the best for spurs but then doesn't allow it? Can we call him disengenous & untrustworthy for pulling these stunts for 25 years. Can we call him a charlatan for being the only 1 who refused ticket price reductions across Europe?

Ultimately, can we call him a con man cos he truly has been pulling this con for many years now, so much so that ENIC even gave up some other pet projects so they can carry on with the great spurs con (you know the con, right? The one that says that we needed a new stadium to compete but somehow we have become less competitive now yet own more real estate etc. he gets bigger bonuses, is the highest paid chairman in the league but least successful). Can we call him a grifter?
Yes is the short answer to the above.

And the reason for this, which frankly you should be well aware of, is that dwarfism as a disability is a protected characteristic in the UK alongside other things such as race, sex, religion etc...

So your comment had the same impact as calling him a racist slur. Something that one of our current players is well aware of right now as he faces down the barrel of a 6-12 match ban.

And much like with Bentancur's comment, it's not about offending the person you're targeting (in his case Son and in your case Levy), although that is also a problem, but it's about offending a whole section of society in doing so (in his case South Koreans / Asians and in your case people with disabilities, specifically dwarfism).

So you can call Levy pretty much anything you want, and it will only offend him, unless of course you start using a term which offends an entire sub-set of society, and if that sub-set happens to be a protected characteristic in the UK, then it puts your comment well out of line and in some cases actionable against.

It's not the 90s anymore, you should be clear in your understanding of what is and what isn't offensive and what you should and should be saying. If not, perhaps you shoud consider taking some time out of posting on this forum and instead spend it googling and education yourself.
I'm just checking before I make another faux pas and piss some people of here.

Yeah, a bit of a disaster for him really. He's not a settled player, so by the time he gets back either other players in the same position will have fortified their place, or the manager will have changed. It will be hard for him to break into the team now and I bet he ends up getting loaned, which will be a shame. Hope he recovers soon.

Can’t see that anytime soon, hopefully he’s not out for too long but he won’t have to show much when he’s back to challenge for a starting spot.

Hopefully he won’t be out for longer than two months.

In the meantime, this is a big opportunity for Moore. I hope Ange gives him a chance. He certainly can’t do worse than Timo.

I don't think this impacts him long-term.

We are clearly planning for the future with Odobert, 19, Gray, 18, Bergvall, 18, Yang, 18, Moore, 17

That kind of points to a core group who are 2-3 years away from being important players.

A lot of my hopes on this season were reliant on Odobert, we're effectively the same team as last season with no improvement without him and arguably worse tactically.

I wouldn't say Solanke or Gray at the moment are a marked improvement on Richarlison or Sarr so feels like we've wasted a summer for improving our squad today.

For sure, we've got some great prospects but what's the point if we finish 7th with no silverware and have to fire our manager
