Do we think long term he may play mainly on the left with Yang (as Son gets older) and that we still look for a right sided attacker to rotate with Johnson in the next couple of windows?
Depends where we see Mikey long term I guess, LW or AM.

If he slots in at LW, then Mikey and Yang could be enough. Odobert could cover both sides potentially.
If he's being primed for the AM slot then yeah, another RW will definitely be needed and it could be the Odobert/Yang combo on the left.
Let's see how Johnson develops this year, we could well be in for another RW next summer anyway.

Son's time is clearly limited and I'm starting to think now that the club are actively thinking of Johnson and Werner as stop gaps to wait and see if Odobert, Moore and Yang can break through. Highly unlikely that Kane would have broken through if Adebayor and Soldado hadn't been having such poor seasons at the time, and I wonder if the club felt that signing Eze or Neto would mean these guys would end up leaving like De Bruyne and Salah left Chelsea, instead of having an easy target to replace in the first team.

Wouldn’t even say no to this front line tbh, seems like RW - Wilson, LW - Son, LCM - Maddison, RCM - Bergvall and Richy up top although I’d stick with Solanke.

Isn't he primarily a right footed player just good with his left? I would expect him to play wide right as we need the wide players to hold their width. I expect Moore will play central as long as Ange is here because again we don't want to lose width. Hopefully Yang can hug the touchline. This is where we need go hope the scouting is on point because a lot of these wide players love to play infield but we need proper wingers. We need a Bale and Lennon.

These are very short training clips - but I don't think I saw Solanke in yesterday's clip either - wonder if he picked up a knock, or just not in the videos. (Of course its also possible I have just missed him in the videos and he was there all along!)

The thing about him looking good in these training clips, is that you have to remember he’s playing against our defenders. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yang is listed as right wing being his main position on transfermrket.

We don't lose width when Moore is on the wing.

Not at all surprising. Probably looking at Doue and Eze too though but that's the way it should be done.
