Is it just me or does he look shorter than the listed 6 ft?
He looks 5 10 to me in most clips I watched.

This team needs needs excitement & hopefully Ange chucks him in.
He’s already had PL experience with Burnley, so there’s no reason to hold him back.

Both wing starting spots are seemingly up for grabs right now. Ange can't be shy about giving him his chance.

I was kind of supposing that he would get minutes when the league cup starts up for us but it may come sooner.

What an opportunity for the kid.

So many young talents end up going to wrong clubs at the wrong time (e.g. Chelsea).

Odobert finds himself at a club who is screaming for a player with his attributes that just the willingness and confidence to take on a defender 1v1 will be applauded by the fans.

And an already young squad with a number of very very talented players of a similar age developing together. Exciting times ( hopefully ).

Do we think long term he may play mainly on the left with Yang (as Son gets older) and that we still look for a right sided attacker to rotate with Johnson in the next couple of windows?

Looks like he can play anywhere behind/beside the striker.

For this season - it would be great for him and Johnson on the RW - as it looks like both players could excel as a 2nd half sub - so one starts, and wears down the opposing LB, and then the other comes on against tired legs.

Just based on a 1-minute training clip - it certainly looks like Odobert is already much more aggressive than Johnson, which is what we are needing - players like Odobert and Bergvall who look to make things happen.

Yea he’s going to light it up for us.

I reckon bench on Saturday but on with 20 mins to go and he’ll really excite the fans and he’ll then mabye start the next game after that.

Should be a really good addition.

Hopefully this lad will do well, but I’m not lauding him up just yet. I’ve seen this many times before at this club.

We just need that fearless 1v1 winger who will go at his man time and time again.

Hopefully the crowd don't get on his back if some of them fail and reduce him to what we saw from Johnson the other night. No disrespect meant to Johnson by any means.
