Which seems pretty reasonable . . .Having looked into it a bit, it seems he has to apply for it to be updated because he changed employers.

Yeah that sounds fair enough. Not sure if he would have got a run out yet anyway. We have everyone available so expect Johnson and Werner on the bench tonight and think they would get the nod first. He'll get time to settle until the fixtures start to add up. Might even see Moore for a short run out.
You have to be registered on Friday anyway so not sure we could have registered him without it. I'm guessing it was just out of blue and not necessarily rushed in time for the game which I don't think makes sense anyway.I suppose its not impossible for the work permit to be granted later today in time for tonights game?
It's pretty scary to think that so many people have voted to be tougher on immigrants, when you suspect the vast majority don't have the first clue how our immigration system actually works and how difficult it can be. There's a huge human impact, exacerbated by tons of unnecessary red tape so politicians can pretend to be "strong".It seems most here have never worked outside their home country…
I have been doing it for 15 yrs across 3 countries - red tape is there in every country every job-high end Footballers have it easy than other legal skilled immigrants .
Did you miss last season? Played in the PL…43 pages already for a player I hadn't heard of until last Friday lol
He was registered Friday in time for today. The work permit is separate. You have to be registered on Friday anyway so not sure we could have registered him without it. I'm guessing it was just out of blue and not necessarily rushed in time for the game which I don't think makes sense anyway.
@Archibald&Crooks and his bookie both are excited by these kinds of shots…He also has an eye for the spectacular — two of his three Premier League goals were scored from outside the area.
No mention of him not being available on the OS, so I assume the news story is a bit out of date. You have to be registered on Friday anyway so not sure we could have registered him without it. I'm guessing it was just out of blue and not necessarily rushed in time for the game which I don't think makes sense anyway.
That’s very gracious of Scott Parker, a
I think he must come on late and score. I read his contract.I hope his is not in the squad today as I see it as too soon for a 19 year old, playing in a new team after maybe 2 training sessions, for a team that plays with inverted FBs and has plenty of options that know the system and how each other play together.
This is a signing for the next 5 years and while I think he will make us better this year, it is too soon today.
