Really think we should’ve looked to loan him to a decent championship side last season. I think he’d do really well in that league and with prices we probably could’ve got a decent sum for him. I don’t think clubs will see him as worth the risk now until he proves he can still put the ball in the net, it wasn’t long ago he scored 27 league goals but his confidence is likely shot now.

He turned down the opportunity to go to Brighton on loan last summer why do you think he would have gone to a Championship side ?

Ah yes forgot about that. I’m guessing he really fancied one of those pointless loans to Turkey. He clearly wasn’t thinking properly about ways of rebuilding his career.

Apparently Burnley, Wolves and Betis show an interest according to media. Apply preferred amount of salt.

Loan deals are only putting off the inevitable in VJ's case, Poch is not going to change his mind on this one, and a loan is simply storing up the problem of offloading for another window, at this rate he will be released on a free at the end of his contract, it's quite clear that both parties want out, and the sooner a permanent deal is secured the better for both of us, but we need to be realistic as to what that fee will be...

His agent has been out in the media complaining that we aren't getting any deals done for Janssen even though clubs show interest. I guess that they offer loan deals and we want a permanent, as you say.

Got 12/1 for him to go to any Spanish club, it's now come down to 10/11, probably because of the story breaking on twitter.

This comes in, will be the best thing VJ has done for me during his time at Spurs!

Or perhaps we're asking for too much for a player other clubs know we have no intention of playing in the first team?

Im assuming that means no Janssen as frankly the idea of a club making 2 signings would blow my fucking head clean off.

Who, if he was little more mobile, could also be described as a dancing turd
No, he is that immovable turd you lay after Christmas, the one that just sits there and ends up needing an industrial strength plunger and some caustic soda to shift it and ends up causing a fatberg further down the line ...
