Wanyama was fantastic a few seasons ago. Didn’t want us to sign him but was blown away by how good he was

But that was then and like Sandro before him he picked up an injury and unfortunately came back a shell of the player he once was

Terrible, terrible shame but he is finished. Many of us saw it ages and ages ago. Surely Poch must see it. He’s far more knowledgeable and has a better eye than any of us

wtf is going on? There are so many unanswered questions that have been going on for a while now. It’s so unPoch

You never know what’s going on behind the scenes. Dier has always been pretty vocal about stuff, maybe he’s said something to Poch and that is the problem we now have? Who knows.

Either way, I was hoping to see a DM come on for Sissoko on Saturday, due to his yellow card. I was somewhat confused to see it was Wanyama.. Poch just seems to be making so many weird decisions.

This is the time you’d actually like journalists to stop being boring nobbers asking the same questions (are you leaving spurs etc blah blah) and say oi Poch why you being on Wanyama who spurs were trying to sell and is obviously fucked, over Skipp who played jolly well over pre-season and Dier who was your adopted son?

Why do none of them take this opportunity?

Fuck it, next press conference I’m gonna stealth in there, knock out one of the journalists and using their press badge infiltrate the proceedings and I’m gonna ask him.

I’ll then ask why the facking diamond formation obsession too if I’m not discovered and chucked out.

His first season was amazing. Really had it all for a central midfielder. But those injuries have totally dismantled him. His athleticism is gone. The running power is gone.

This player is gone.

Makes you think, if Poch had not played Wanyama I dont think there would be as much of an issue today.

The performance was not bad on the whole, VAR stung us massively, other players were not at the races.

What you cannot accept is Poch playing someone out of faith and loyalty when he is nowhere near the required fitness or ability anymore.

He didn't even put a foot in to try and stop Madison's shot. Sissoko would of thrown himself at it. I don't think they would of scored if Sissoko was still on the pitch. He's crocked and should be nowhere near the first team.

We tried to sell him and then he comes on before dier and skipp. He gave a sloppy pass that led to the first goal and he just couldn't cover the ground to get to maddison for the 2nd.

Dier must not be up to poch fitness standards yet.

Well, sadly Wanyama isn’t either.

Well, sadly Wanyama isn’t either.

What happened to Poch throwing young players in during testing moments as opposed to 5 minutes 4-0 up to Palace. Was a perfect opportunity for Skipp if he didnt want Dier. Both better options than Wanyama.

Most tragic link of the window. Rather play Fazio as DM. This isn't hyperbole or an exaggeration but if you rate Wanyama I will deduct a point away from my ranking system of how much I value your opinion on football. It's out of 100, @millsey you are currently on -8,000,000

This is now true.

I genuinely thought he could still do a decent job for a lower mid table Premier League team, but yesterday he was bypassed by league two players.

It is so sad to see that injuries have killed his career. Much like Sandro and to a lesser extent Huddlestone, he has lost all manoeuvrability.

SSN showed a clip midway through the 1st half.

We were meandering in possession around the half way line, it went to Wanyama in 15 yards of space.
He looked up to the rwb position, saw KWP and booted the ball out of play, 10 yards from his intended target.
I honestly thought someone was hurt.

Sums it all up.

His strength, mobility and getting around the pitch was his biggest assist, without that his nothing, least someone like Huddlestone had decent vision and pass on him
