Something's up if he doesn't play against Rochdale. I didn't expect him to be involved against Juventus. I think that he's still getting his match fitness back on point. Plus we are doing fine so we should't grumble.

Way too early to say if it's any off the field issue. Let's see if he features against Rochdale and Palace.

Im going with him just being eased back in. No point putting him in the Juventus squad if he is not match sharp.

Lets wait and see. I do though think he will not be signing a new deal. He has had more than 18 months to sign or negotiate it.

What I will say about toby's new contract is that just because it hasn't been signed now, doesn't mean it won't. Look at big eyes at the scum, had 6 months left and then signed. There is still the possibility Toby will renew.

My view is Toby believes he’s fit and ready where poch wants to take it slowly and build him up and Toby getting frustrated with it.

I can't knock the bloke if he wants to go. 29 years old. Last opportunity for a big contract and a chance to win trophies.

Will be a sad day but if I was in his shoes I'd be looking onwards and upwards at this stage of my career

Only problem with that is if we keep letting these players go then others big players may get annoyed and want to go too.

Walker left and pretty much has a league winners medal and double the wages for it.

Arsenal are a prime example of this.

Yeah but that's football now mate. Certain clubs treat it like football manager with the cheats on. We will never compete with that so just have to accept that now and again players heads will be turned.

My guess would be that the status and importance of this game has come too soon for him.

Contract situation I doubt would have any bearing, simply not match fit enough and a game of this magnitude is not the one for a rusty player building minutes for top end match sharpness.

If he doesn't start against Rochdale he's either had a set back or perhaps then, and only then, could we speculate that there’s something more to it behind the scenes.

Next Sunday will reveal a lot.

He gave away a signed shirt on instagram the other day thanking everyone for their support while being out. A minor thing perhaps but still...

Things always swing around during contract negs. Ozil was nailed on for Utd how many times in the last year or so. This can be rectified.

We know Kane aside Poch is very careful with returning players.

Toby was talking about the game as if he could play last week so maybe there was a disagreement with Poch but I'm not gonna set the bed just yet.
