Ange on injuries:

“Romero felt something in his quad. That’s just the way our season has gone.
[Via AlasdairGold]
Sorry I thought it was a hammy - is it a Quad that’s kept him out since Chelsea? Two fucking months plus incorporating the festive period. Total Nightmare

I believe Ange had similar injury rates at Celtic under his tenure.
In his first year, but all was well in his second year. The year that he always wins a trophy...

Anyway, we have to give him the rest of the season, and then see how things stand. Unless we get relegated, then we, err... don't give him the rest of the season?

Can we not just cut this loan?

I’ve defended him and kinda liked him, but the effort wasn’t there v Tamworth and not sure it has been for a few games now.

He is shot to bits. Mikey is back now, and I’d hate to see Timo get his minutes

I watched a video someone compiled of all the misses Werner has made at spurs. The ease of most of those chances is only made worse by the type of finish he went for. He could have scored 50pc of them if he just hit and hope instead of side footing it straight at the keeper with no pace.

If he is out for 6 to 8 weeks it seems pointless keeping him about. Although I suspect Leipzig were clever enough to include something in the loan saying we can’t end it early. They seem a pretty clued up organisation.

I would say he’s actually injured. I remember Ange got very annoyed when people were implying he was lying about Kane being injured prior to his move to Bayern. If he wasn’t injured I’d imagine Ange would just say he’s not available for tactical reasons or whatever.
Ange has said a lot of things about not criticising refs and not negotiating on our high line, but when his circumstances change so does his stance.

Wasn't it Dier he got annoyed about

Agree on the sentiment though, he would probably just say not selected.

Just entered the thread but how many times has somebody said “I’ll drive him there myself”?

It’s in new york mate, so not sure how you’ll drive him there….. BUT can a pilot please step up and say you’ll ‘fly him there yourself?’ This is bloody urgent!
