Assist for 'terrible' Timo ;)

He's not perfect but I do think some on here don't appreciate what qualities he does and is bringing due to his pace, movement, workrate etc.
He's giving us a real out ball when Brighton get possession for a few minutes and as you said in an earlier post, he's keeping their right back well occupied.

And he's probably the only winger we have that can go passed a man regularly.

He is wasting chances time after time after time. It would eventually come and cost us and it did today. Yes he got an “assist” by passing 3 yards to Maddison but the one that matters was at the very start. We need to start converting our chances because it’s evident we can’t keep the ball out the other fucking end.

Started off well, even an assist today, but nothing as second half went on.
Another one that should have been subbed off earlier.

There was always going to be a game when his misplaced passes at critical moments and his goal misses would cost us and today was the day. I am sick of this clown even with his 1 assist today. His predictible little knock forward into the corner for someone to chase does my head in. Why did we sign him again 😭

Find the world's greatest sports psychologist and pay him whatever he wants to help Timo's mentality. It's almost as if in that last moment, he tenses up or his brain freezes or something along those lines. There's a player in there but whether it can be coaxed out or not is the real question.

Feel sorry for him.

He's a better player than he's showing at the moment. He literally cant control a football. He's that bad.

I don't think being handled by Ange well. He didnt deserve to come on today. His performance showed that statement is correct. Leaving him out was tbe right thing to do.

Moore not getting minutes isnt good.

I don't want to be down on him after such a good team performance in the 2nd half (or generally) but... wow. If there was a stat that showed "the things that actually happened" as a percentage of "the things he meant to do" in his appearance today, we'd probably be talking about single digits. He just shouldn't be getting minutes, especially now we have other options.

Whilst I agree totally on Werner I wouldn’t worry about Moore. Other than Yamal there isn’t a 17 year old in the top leagues who has played more minutes than our Mikey. He will most likely start on Thursday and most likely see out the 90 yet again.

Moore is getting enough football at the minute.

What I actually think is that when Odobert comes back very soon then Werner shouldn’t be making the bench. He clearly isn’t good enough.
