So looks like we’ve move onto Werner now Johnson has started to come into some form, it was Sarr last week too, then Son, before Maddison, then Kulu most of last year. Yes he’s not in great form and yes likely can be improved upon, but until that point let’s at least get behind them and give them confidence.

honestly some on here need to give your head a wobble and let’s support our own
100% this, spot on mate!

He'll be the first player to go through on goal, round off the keeper and get his heel clipped, get a penalty but no red card because it's not a clear goal scoring opportunity.
I love the effort he brings, he has some great qualities but when he's through on goal it's not only he who doesn't think he'll score it's everyone.

You lot are all idiots.

Timo’s playing 4d chess. If he slots his two chances we win 5-0 and Ineos have no choice but to sack ETH.

3-0 and they waver, deciding to keep him on for a few more games.

I bet you all feel stooopid now you’ve understood just how much smarter he is than you.

Again, overall a good performance but completely fluffed his 1 v 1 against the keeper. Could have had an assist with his cross for Lankshear's header
Solanke and Richarlison probably score on that cross, and Lankshear more times than not. But that miss is a confidence killer, especially for him.

Seriously should not start another game . Last season he showed moments with a turn of pace . This season he seems to have lost that and his shooting is even worse .

send back in January when Yang arrives

Only way for him to gain confidence is for Ange to keep him in the starting 11. I think Werner's playing style is a good fit for us, it's just a shame that he is absolutely terrible in front of goal 😂

Playing him, is holding back Moore. Who is hungry and looks confident. Back our own.
Send Werner back at the earliest opportunity, we don’t owe him a confidence boost

You do all realise he’s earning an absolute fortune and earning it by doing something we’d all likely give our right arms to do.
I don’t feel sorry for him. He’s his own worst enemy. If a sports psychologist can’t help him and hours on a training pitch don’t either. Then he is done and will walk away a multi millionaire with a mostly wasted career

Anyone else feel a bit sorry for him 😕 I mean he is a decent footballer imo good work rate but 1 on 1 god knows what goes on in his head.

Werner suits the style of play, otherwise he wouldn't have had 3 1v1 chances in 2 games. I just hope he finds his shooting boots and confidence. I'm sure he will find it once he scores one or two

He is playing exactly how he did at Chelsea.

Pace to burn and then fluffs his lines

anyone that saw him play for them shouldn’t be surprised nor should they expect him to find his shooting boots

he can’t consistently score in elite football - its a well established flaw in his game that he needs multiple chances to score a goal and has freezes in front of goal
