His ball control is unbelievable at times. It's like he's glued the ball to his foot.

He looks 200% more motivated than last season, and his last 2 outings have been very positive. Long may it continue because he's pivotal to us now.

I remember at one point late in the match yesterday him at an all out sprint racing back to defend a counter. First time I can recall seeing that type of determination from him on defense. Really pleased with his work rate so far this season.

I think this point gets missed by many. He does have a weird running style and to some it looks lazy, but it’s so clear that he uses it to lure his opponents into thinking he’s knackered and slow and then, bang. So unique, so incredible. He’s only going to get better and better and I, as an eternal Ndombele truther, cannot fucking wait.

Valid point.

The problem is not so much tracking back. But positional defensive awareness. And the trust (manager, team mates) that he will cover his space/player/FB when required.

Absolutely colossal performance tonight. Took on a 3 man midfield almost single handedly and bossed them. And his pressing and positioning defensively was fantastic.

So excited to see him turn the corner after last year!

He was so gassed he couldn't even run to celebrate with the lads at the end :ROFLMAO:

On a serious note, he absolutely ran the show. Didn't even matter that they brought Kante on, he still dismantled their midfield. What an incredible player.

I know it's natural to rave about his performances and ability but what really encourages me is the fact he's had 2 90m + a cameo in 6 days.

That will have pushed his fitness and mentality threshold on so much. Now he's not going to feel a niggle and say he can't play, he'll know he can and he'll want to.

Jose has handled this situation superbly but Tanguy has done fantastically well to rebound.

Well done everyone.
