Really wanted to see him in our remaining games to see if he could hit some form. It’s embarrassing that he can’t get into our midfield at present. Chuck him, Skipp, Sess, Troy in to see what they can do.

Now we’ve got the NLD out of the way, I’m not that fussed about our results, just be nice to see a few get some game time.

Its a tad flippant to not care about results as it could have huge impact on finances, morale and transfers,etc...
If we are winning without him then he can wait until next season if he is still here.

I’d obviously like us to win every match. Presumed as a fan of the club that went without saying. Obviously not.

But I also feel it’s important to bed other players into the first eleven. Means we don’t have rusty players replacing injured or tired ones. Means our usual first eleven isn’t permanently knackered. That’s why it’s a squad game.

As for finances and transfers, there’s a couple of million difference in each position, so a couple of months of salary for a top player. Hardly going to effect if we buy Neymar or not. And morale being a problem? How about the morale of the several players who aren’t getting near a start? Or do we just concern ourselves with the first team again?

Just need to make sure if we shift him that we get a proper player in return. Ndombele has such a high ceiling, can't be trading him for the likes of Nelson Semedo or Samuel Umtiti just because they have played at a big club.
I don’t know about this semedo guy but Umtiti was first choice Cb for World Cup winning France, scoring the only goal against Belgium in the sf. He’s plenty good enough for us!

He’s also got a totally biscuit knee which has diminished him otherwise they wouldnt be looking to get rid of him.

Problem is Barca don't really have an equivalent player anymore. Dembele maybe? I'd take him but likely no cash with that one and we'd need to replace Ndombele's creativity.
Griezmann might work for both parties (both players having poor years), although his valuation is obviously sky high. But if they're looking to bring in Lautaro and already have Ansu Fati coming through, who knows...that club is not well run to say the least. Lloris connection maybe helps too.

Although I don't know if we can afford his wages.

I suppose Coutinho is another one but I've never been a big fan of his.

We don't know who is going to be here next season so best to trust the manager.
We are just about getting some consistency and the players who aren't starting is not an issue as only 3 games left and doubt they will have a hissy over it!

Couple of mill is huge in current climate buddy with empty stadiums, also getting into EL

I really struggle to understand 2 things

1. the personal attacks on a young player who hasn't warranted anything such?
2. the thought that you would rather give up on a potential world-class talent because he's run out of time?

it's all good and well to have your opinions but the personal attacks are downright a reflection of YOUR character not HIS.
it's also silly to assume that comments like what i've seen do more harm than supporting a player who needs it because at the end of the day it benefits not only him but the entire club/fan base.

If Ndombele goes I’ve got a sneaking suspicion it’ll be to PSG. They’re one a small handful of clubs who have been unleashed by the CAS decision in the City case, and they’ve been strongly linked. It’s plausible to me that we might be able to get a big fee from them.

I trust Jose 100% and think he’s an excellent hire for us. I’m sure he’ll be a success here. And he knows a lot more about this than I ever will.

However, I do find it frustrating to watch our lack of creativity in the middle of the park when we could change it up. Or when I see our left side struggling when we could put a bit of pace out there. We’re never going to find out if our players are capable if we don’t play them.

And i have to disagree again about the couple of million. It’s chicken feed to us. Less than half a percent of revenue. Better to have it than not, but if it means we have to sell a “fringe” player, due to their lack of opportunities, for £10m less than we paid for them, it becomes less important.

i think he'll be here next season. Levy has seen this before with Bale and others, he won’t let Mourinho bin him off yet, at least I hope this is the case.

I personally think he’s away when the window opens. It’s a shame as the talent is definitely there to see, but there seems to be a lack of desire, drive, work rate and It’s something that would make him a nightmare to play against if he gets his attitude correct. It wouldn’t surprise me if we sold him and he became one of the best midfielders in the world at another club. Totally torn on what I would like us to do with him, i want him to succeed at Spurs and become that player.

It’s because the fans have created and perpetuated a False narrative where he has a bad attitude and falsifies injruries to not play for us. One mans rumour swiftly becomes another mans truth; when a person says “oh What if he’s not actually injured he’s saving himself for a transfer” down the line our fans see that as fact.
For a spurs fan base who value flair and technique there is such a great deal of negativity and hate towards a maverick player. But if his face doesn’t fit they just don’t take to him.
It’s really sad to see and we could be losing a potential world class player and trying to buy in CM when our stock will be at its lowest for years.
