Hate to say it but I think he'll be sold and Jose will get some funds to shape the side to his liking.

It's a real shame but if Jose wants players he trusts so be it, he should be backed and we all get behind him.

But i was convinced this was just about adjusting but its become very clear it's more than that because he's not getting the minutes you need to bed in.

Bayern might come for him as they need thiago alacantra replacement. If we can make a deal for him by taking one or two bayern players in the process would be great ...

One of the best AMs in PL history? Not in a million years. He has a great year in Madrid and one very good year for Arsenal where everything went through him, but his output for Arsenal in the league is short of both Dele and Eriksen who each cost a fraction of the price. You’d not call either of them one of the best AMs in PL history would you?

I mean for Arsenal (Arsenal's history in PL)

Yep and this is why I think Mourinho is a good appointment for us. He is an experienced, safe pair of hands who will steady the ship while we go through covid and the new stadium. I think along the way we will ruin the legs of our current crop of players (and this is why i wont harbour ill will for Kane if he moves on from us to actually win something).

I dont think we should expect any dramatic changes on the field. I dont think we will be a CL side under him, because I can't see us breaking the bank to bring someone in who will make a difference. Basically I think we are going to walk the Arsenal's footsteps but hopefully without the Ozil baggage..
Jury is out for me...
Like today's showing really wasn't happy with decisions but the gaps Arse had in defence were created by someone and we obviously won the tactical battle.
It's the first game I've enjoyed under JM so the jury is out

Such high hopes for the guy but he's barely looked interested most of the times I've seen him play. I'd love for him to come good as his skills are great but he always looks knackered after 30 mins.

Seeing Arse I was surprised how weak they were today when they had played some strong games. We looked a bit like Pochs team of a few years ago (a bit I said) and they looked more like we've been playing lately

Most of us on here have never followed a league title winning Spurs side, week in and week out over a season. We're not familiar with the players, coaching and mentality needed to finally get over that finishing line.

Perhaps the NDombele saga is our first dose of reality in this area?

I think that Jose wants to get rid of the talented players who fall at the final hurdle because of their mindset, and replace them with players who will give 100% on and off the pitch.

There were so many times over the years with Harry and Poch's sides where on paper we were the favourites, but ultimately we won nothing. It's painful to say it, but we didn't have the 'winning mentality'. The 'win at all costs mentality'.

Jose doesn't want to get us back into the CL spots. If he wanted to finish 4th I believe that NDombele would be playing.

He wants to take this club to the very top of the Premier League and be immortalised in the process. And the only way to do that is to squeeze every last drop of effort and fighting spirit out of his players. The players who have these qualities will stay; those who don't will leave. Simple as that.

It's going to be a fascinating 24 months!

They're a crap team with a couple of good attackers papering over the cracks. Their defence is woeful (and yet they decided to give them new contracts??).

They'll be erratic with their results until PEA and Lacazette leaves. Then they'll be solidly mid-table.

There's a story from early in Jose's Chelsea days (first time around). The whole squad is at a party or social and Jose causes some trouble; he tells Terry that Lampard is bad mouthing him and Lampard that Terry is doing the same. So both players square up to each other and there's a massive scene, and Jose is basically laughing in the corner.

He wanted to see if they'd stick up for themselves; see if they've got any fight in them.

It's a tactic he's used throughout his career. It's not really bullying as such, it's a test to see who will respond positively under pressure and who will crumble.

If NDombele decides to say 'Screw you Jose, this is what I can do', then we'll be seeing more of him.

He'll be gone in summer I suspect. On the assumption that Jose doesn't like him then it'd be a good outcome for Tanguy..not much point staying with a manager who doesn't rate you.

Would people take £45m for him? Doubt we would recoup all our money considering how little he's played and the current covid climate.

No way he leaves for less than we paid, or if we get players in exchange and Daniel is happy with it
