to everyone questioning his work rate understand one thing....
he chose to come to us when he could have gone to any club in the world, even if that club or league would have been a lot easier for him but no he chose us under Pochettino who he knew he had to work hard to play under. THAT says everything you ever need to know

Genuine question....who did he turn down for us?

I want to be clear that I am hugely excited at the prospect of a fit and fully functioning Ndombele. But the only thing that will tell me what I need to know is seeing him perform week in week out at a level we all know he is capable of. Reasons behind decisions he made 8 months ago mean very little to me at this stage, unfortunately.

Looked fatter than ever in today’s training pics. I’ve defended him till now but unless that picture is just extremely unflattering he’s taking the piss now. Unless he has some eating disorder.

* would post picture but don’t think allowed to

The narrative in this thread and elsewhere has the potential of forcing a great talent from our club if it continues.

I will be very disappointed.

nobody at the club listens to the fans. they won't give a shit what the general consensus on players are from us.

So you defend him up until the point where you see some pics of him in training where you've HAD ENOUGH

People really do spend too much time on social media, desperate to be outraged at every little thing.

Training ffs lol

It must just be the angle. There’s no way he’d be allowed to train with the team if he was actually fat. The photo does him no favours though whatsoever.

Every person can have a photo taken of them at a certain moment that isn't flattering. I think he's getting a raw deal at the moment, a little disappointing that many of our fans aren't supporting him as he comes to terms with the intensity of our league.

How many of our summer signings have completed 90 minutes for us so far, especially in the PL? Not many I assume.

Also Payet is well overweight currently and is still smashing it for Marseille, who are, in typically AVB fashion, Scrooge-like defensively and completely reliant on him to break the game for them.

The state of things when men who are probably over 250lbs themselves are critiquing the shape of a guy from a picture taken at an odd angle. Good lord.

There are some players you adapt the team for.

we'd never know for sure, we only know of PSG being one but you'd know he'd get into any team in world
