Wonder how those quotes will go down with a section of the media that think Mourinho 'doesn't fancy him' and is 'throwing him under the bus'. So eager to paint him as the new Pogba.

Backs up JJs info, he's obviously been frustrated not to have him.

Hopefully this is a turning point for Tanguy. Good news on the fitness coaching, they have obviously been a little more cautious this time (although begs the question of what the hell were we doing in preseason? again).

Ok Ally Gold has weighed in again, these are the most interesting quotes for sure...

"He's ready, not ready for 90 minutes. He will be involved, will be selected. I'm not telling you to start or to come later, but no injury. Completely free. Just a question of condition and mentality to be ready, but he's back tomorrow."

When you see, in recent times, someone like Kante come in from the French Second Division and take the league by storm, you do have to wonder why players who have played at a higher level, in particular played CL football, came in and they're crap. It's really weird.
He came from the French 1st Division, same as Tanguy. NDombele has only played 1 season more in Ligue 1 than Kante.

On one of the threads there are fans saying " they don't want to go to matches anymore " for various reasons but mainly that the team is not
good enough . Well part of the reason we are not good enough is that we have players that cost a lot of money but need time to get up to fitness / need time to adapt / injured often / all I am saying is lets sign players premiership ready and able to play from the get go it seems that its too much to ask .
Who the fuck doesnt want to go to matches?
Is this a sample of 3 people?
Who what and how many?

It is not me not wanting not to go it is the thoughts of some on this site I think the theme was ticket prices .
How many there are that don't want to go anymore I have no idea but I do have a thought on not wanting to go because of ticket prices
(a} if you can't afford it you don't have a choice
(b) If you can afford it but still don't want to go then that's up to you
(c) If you can afford it but don't go because of the high price then that is your choice
(d) If you are like me struggle to pay but still choose to go that is my choice
What I can't stand is the people forever bleating about ticket prices if its too costly or you don't want to pay high prices don't go end of.

Just how many games has Ndombele been fit for also how many games did he rule himself out of for his own reasons ?
I get stick for calling this man a softie well at the rate its going we are not likely to get more than 3or4 games out of him for the rest of the season. The irony is we are crying out for someone of his ability and vision .I am absolutely gutted with this bloke up to now .
I know I will be told " he's been injured". "he needs time to adjust" " what do you expect from a player in a new league " '" he will come good eventually " I am more concerned about now or today or this season not next season or some untold time in the future .

Not sure what you can say about tonight. Winks and Lamela needed taking off and the third sub had to be ready. If we had been crusing 3-0 (can't remember when that last was) he'd have come on, but tonight was not a good time to do so.

This is from yesterday but it shows that mourinho rates him highly

He is talking about his fitness, not his importance to the team or mourinhos plans.
Ie his mentality is going to to ultimately determine if he ever gets over his physical issues.

Basically time to choose what he really wants, pie or football. It's just Jose putting the ball in his court.

People jumping to conclusions again. Maybe, just maybe Jose didn't want to risk him in this game if he didn't need to and turned to our other senior professionals in a game that we won. Let's see if he starts on Sunday before we get all panicky poo again. I actually think easing him in is the correct thing to do.

I thought Jose as good as said he would play for some of the match. Maybe the Winks injury changed things but surprised to see both Dier and Gedson come on before him.

You can’t really play in midfield in the premier league if you are lazy/unfit.

I’m worried about this guy. If he can’t sort out his defensive game then he’ll be competing with Alli for a free role off Kane.
