Absolutely no issue with that comment. Redknapp did it with Bale, Bale reacted the right way. If Tanguy has anything about him, so will he. This squad has had enough time having their booboos kissed better and being handed lollipops.

I don't think we can be critical of Mourinho here if it is true.

The PL is a tough league, so TN needs to develop a thick skin if he is going to make it. It's purely tough love.

We don't need another Paulinho, regardless of potential/cost etc.
Salah, De Bruyne too? TN's a young, foreign player coming into a new, demanding league with all the life adjustments that goes with that. Don't see the need for Jose to do this right now.

I think he's just worried about pulling up injured again. Alli was like that for a little while when he got back to back injuries. Hopefully he shows that he wants to play on Saturday.

For that you need to have the right mentality and be at the correct fitness levels.

He's showing right mentality, not rushing his transfer to City last year or not rushing to play today and develop more his injury. And you can't dismiss the fact Mourinho can find a scapegoat :)

Another player with a weak mentality it seems. We need some warriors willing to run through brick walls.

Salah wasn't sold by Mourinho, as has already been clarified in the past, but how can you determine if those events aren't what made them as good as they are now?

From the outside it doesn't look like it, it has to be said. The fitness thing is one thing but not wanting to play despite being fit is another, it's not a good look which ever way you want to look at it.

If he has an injury then a hard slog in the rain isnt going to help him. Why rush him when we have 2 games in a short time.

If is fine but didnt feel up to playing then I dont know what to say.

Its funny, we complain that he is always injured yet when he is cautious we perhaps lambast his mentality. We complain why our players are always injured, well perhaps the fact we want to force them to play is the reason? I dont know, but whilst I have no complaints about the comment I also understand why Ndombele is cautious.

Ndombele has been nothing short of disgraceful since signing. Started the season in what looked about 2 stone overweight and totally unfit. Yes he is great going forward, but defensively his reliability is poor. It looks like neither manager has really fancied him. If he did cry off over fear of an old injury then jm has the right to call him on it. His reaction to this incident will tell us a lot, do we have kante on our hands or abother pogba?

A quick google search would have told the coaching staff all they needed to know about his fitness and not always giving 100%. Probably the reason the apparent most sort after midfielder didnt really get any of the biggest clubs making an offer.

I would have thought our medical dept would be able to asses whether he was injured or not?

Most likely but would they have checked him out since then and did they even do a check? I dont know.. will be telling what happens against Norwich as he definitely makes a difference when he plays.

His fitness is definitely not up to scratch I would agree with the majority of the views on here.
