He’s looked absolutely shattered in games and generally pretty unfit since he’s joined us. Physically he has a strange gait and I hope, this doesn’t make him more prone to injury. I read something similar about Benjamin Mendy’s running style a few years ago and he’s barely played for City due to injury. It is a slight worry.

Such a talent though. If he can get himself properly fit then he will be starting every week. Yesterday we were crying out for a player like him.

What was his injury record like in France? I know the PL is far tougher physically. Hopefully he can adapt quickly, because we need him.

He’s a good player but I’m finding it slightly ridiculous we’ve spent £60 million on a player who isn’t fit to finish 90 minutes every week.

What you reckon the cause is then? Whats your hunch telling u?

I am fully speculating, and I completely recognise that, so spare me the whole 'spam' or 'wtf' ratings if you please, but...

I think the rumours of the fall out with management may have been real. I understand it's been shot down, but then I'd do the same thing if I was controlling the outward narrative of the club.

Indulge me, if you will - Let's assume it did happen, he stormed off the training pitch for second and we're debating the consequences.

- I have no idea if that kind of thing is totally normal and happens a lot
- I have no idea if it was or wasn't serious
- I have no idea if actually it was along the lines of 'go and get fit, once you're ready you can play' and he's taken it well or badly
- I literally have no idea if it's even true!

I totally get it, I'm hearing the (debunked) rumours and very possibly getting it totally wrong. But it kind of stacks up.

Hopefully it's nothing and/or it blows over, because he could be game changing

Lots of rumors saying Jose wants to buy Soumare in January

If there is any truth to that Tanguy does not seem to have much of a chance

Quite the opposite. With a proper dm next to him, Ndombele has even more chance of shining.

Soumare looks more a box to box type to be honest who likes to maraud forward with the ball from deep positions. Think Mourinho prefers his DM to be the sitting type, positionally sound and having good ability to read the game.

I've never been the biggest fan of Dier in midfield but can see Mourinho sticking with him. If that is the case, we need a fit and up to speed Ndombele in there with him because the whole dynamic in midfield improves massively with him in there instead of Sissoko/Winks.

Thought he said he wasn't buying anyone in Jan & wanted to work with what he's got or is he Boris & lies all the time?

I think this fella would benefit from a pre season under Jose in fact the whole squad should be ready to go next August I'm looking forward to how we shape up then.

£100M+ on 3 players in the summer and they've played about 7 minutes between them all season.

This isn't going to help DL's long pockets and short arms syndrome.

I sure hope that we dont let 2 great players (potentially world class players) just pass us buy and never see from them what many of us know they are capable off.

I just think to myself that there is no way that 2 players like tanguy and gio can come into the club and then leave to move on without ever really having there time to shine. They are both of the quality that top teams all shop for in players.
