With the odd follow through...Passing a football like I do wind after curry night. Consistently and catching everyone by surprise.
His passing s sublime. He still looks a bit short of fitness, which is a worry, given we’re starting to get deep into the season now.
Yeah, of course he needs time, but he does look like he’s carrying a bit more weight than he needs, and apparently his weight was an issue as a youngster in France too.Evra on MNF said players coming from the french league need months to get to terms with the fitness of the PL, he added that he took 12months to get upto speed.
He is going to be absolute class , we need to give him time, encourage and support him until he reaches those levels.
He helps transition the play from defense to attack that much quicker. He’s always looking forward. Even with Dier on, we were still transitioning quickly. The midfield didnt dither on the ball all game. Always kept it moving and looking forward. Made a nice change of pace from what we’ve been doing since January.
Better vision and passing than Eriksen. He seems to make them much more consistently per game.

Looked the player that so many had creamed themselves over in the summer.
Didn't look half as leggy as he had done previously aswell.
Hope this continues, he could be quite the player.
No. We need him in midfield. He instantly became our best CM when he signed this summer.I do wonder if he might be even more dangerous further forward. But he was signed to play central midfield and make those vertical passes we’ve seen so far. He’ll lose the ball making those passes but so far I’ve been impressed with how much he hasn’t.
Who did he play central midfield with at Lyon, I’m assuming they were more defensively minded, maybe we should be going for him ASAP?
