Sitting out is no bad thing. Yes in an ideal world he'd get another 90 under his belt. The flip side of course is he'll hopefully avoid aggravating whatever is giving him grief, he'll get to watch with the group, train some more next week to be pumped for the NLDerby. He'll be chomping at the bit...

The number of muscle injuries we get is ridiculous.

I recall but could be recalling incorrectly that we have the second highest number of injuries? If that is correct then that is a massive concern. What would be even more concerning if whether the majority of those injuries are impact injuries during games or other injuries

It also depends on how the figures are arrived at. We've had a load of long term injuries with Lamela, Dembele, Wanyama, Winks, HK, Rose etc and if you tot up the number of days missed it will be huge. If you count individual injuries as a single event I doubt we're any worse than most other clubs.

There might be nothing in this but I'm wondering whether it's down to injury but Ndombele not been called up to french squad and Sissoko has.

Football London said he will be assessed late for NLD so I think DD only wants player ready now in 100%, and they are playing Andorra and Albania so he isn't MUST.

Gutting. Feels like he's the key to our reboot and he's injured already. They made it sound like he was being left out as a precaution at the weekend. Hardly missed a game through injury before.

Looks like Alasdair gives this info only based on France call-ups?

The update seems to have been triggered by it, but he also gives the info that he hasn't trained and that he was limping at a community event this week.
