You had every right to respond in the way you did, I posted whilst drunk and upset.

I was trying to convey ( badly ) that this squad needs his sort of quality, difficult and expensive but real quality imo.

COYS !! :)
Fairs. I've still deducted like a billion brownie points.

If the second half of this season has taught us anything, it's how desperately we've missed Moussa Dembele. Ndombele is the obvious player to plug that gap. Aulas no doubt would love a bidding war, but IMO Levy needs to be brave and put a time limit on our negotiations otherwise I can see us getting gazumped at the 11th hour. Offer them and the player the best we can do and if that doesn't work, move on. It would be a shame but we need to be proactive and secure our targets early enough to blend them in.

I’d also argue Winks as well, when he has played we normally control the middle when he has been injured (a lot) we don’t seem to play that well.

A midfield of Winks, Ndombele and Sissoko should dominate most teams.

Whilst I do like that, I think you’d need a Liverpool level of creativity from full back if you played that 3, as none are exactly creators or goalscorers. 2 of those with Lo Celso seems a good balance, and could adjust to be either a midfield 3 or a 4-2-3-1 with Lo Celso ahead of the other 2.

Sessegnon is a creative LB if we get him, not sure about RB though.

Depends on the game I suppose. Against stronger teams we will want to control the middle, against weaker it’s less of a problem.

Ndombele is actually a pretty creative player. He had more chances created in open play than Luka Modric last season (Fine margin and all, but it does show what he can offer).

PSG pulled out of their pursuit of Allan from Napoli because they don't want to spend 80m euros on a single player according to Paris United. Which is basically what Ndombele will cost.

They only said PSG are not willing to spend that on Allan from what I've seen.

If people keep posting stuff I can't read then yeah, it's going to be a long fucking summer.

And because @Vinny_Sammways_left_peg got so upset;

Kylian Mbappé would have set certain conditions for his management to stay at PSG this summer. The arrival of Tanguy Ndombele would be among them.

His statements were like a bomb. During the UNFP Awards, two weeks ago, Kylian Mbappé said he wanted "more responsibility" at PSG or elsewhere. A message perceived as a warning by the Paris Saint-Germain, who would like to rely on his world champion in the long run. The club of the capital seems so ready to comply with certain requirements of his attacker to keep it.
Mbappé holds Ndombele in high esteem

The Mbappé clan would have set certain conditions to stay. According to Soccer Link, the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele would be among them. Kylian Mbappé is highly regarded by his team-mate in France, with whom he gets on very well, and would consider him a reinforcement of weight. As a reminder, the Lyon area is courted by the two clubs in Manchester, Tottenham and Juventus Turin. Recently, Jean-Michel Aulas made a foot call to PSG to recruit Ndombele.

Appreciate it if I am honest, thanks for posting.

I reckon they’d be happy spending a bit more on a homegrown player, though have no idea what the rules are in France. Weren’t they already flirting with transfer bans, before they even think about splashing that much?

Of course it's entirely plausible it is lost in translation/interpretation but their English twitter says they cannot spend this much money.

Doesn't fill me with confidence, if I'm honest.

So if this Allan guy is the player that PSG want if they can't get Ndombele (or can't afford), would he not also be a possible alternative for us too?

It is just for Allan unfortunately, Paris United have stated PSG are willing to pay the require price for De Ligt and the commission to Raiola.
