Hope in the City game

Thing is I'd love to see him, Lo Celso and potentially a new DM (if we're lucky) in the middle for that game but I still think the inclusion of Dele will scupper that. If anything it will be Lo Celso shafted out wide to accommodate Ndombele in the centre, if they are to both start.

I dunno...keep reading we don't spend £50+ million for players to sit on the bench.

Looks like we do. o_O

All those 'agree' ratings I've given out on the back of this statement.

Lies...damn feckin lies.

Always took mercurial applied to footballers as meaning you could never quite be sure what you’d get from them. Capable of brilliance, stuff few other players could do, but frustratingly inconsistent.

Asprilla, Ginola, Le Tissier. That sort.

I'm wondering if he's getting the Mourinho tough love that Eto'o spoke of. IIRC Eto'o had to wait a while before Jose deemed him fit to start at Inter and started off really angry/frustrated. In retrospect he believes that Jose was absolutely correct in how he managed him.

Disappointed he didn't get some minutes today. Something is majorly fucked with his fitness. Hopefully it's been a discipline thing and not a physique thing.

Let’s be patient and not jump to conclusions about his fitness/attitude etc. He’s shown his obscene talent in glimpses so far and I’m sure more will come when he gets a run in the side. Feel like he will follow in Lo Celso’s footsteps in the next few weeks.

Once he's back and fit and firing, with Lo Celso and Tanganga in the team, I think the three of them playing regularly will elevate us to the next level.

I have never read such great reviews for a player that never plays very odd

GLC yesterday was ok but the majority think he was brilliant. I thought GLC was ok but what you can see is he is clearly talented, skilful and highly technical and will only get better. I see Ndombele in the same way, Ndombele has such great skill, great eye for a pass and can hold on to the ball.

We all can see the skill and the talent they posses but just annoyed that its not really come to fruition and I dont think it will until next season... next season is where it is at
