Alright few nice moments few shit. He’s absolutely miles off it stamina wise though
Not at all worried about his stamina. When Poch first became manager, every single player was knackered for our preseason games because Poch was running them ragged to get their fitness levels up.

I'm assuming Poch is doing the same with Ndombele which is good because now is the time to do it.

Prepared to be negged to oblivion for this, but he looks a bit tubby, doesn't he?

Supposedly as a youth player the reason he was cut from Guingamp's academy was because he had trouble controlling his weight. Luckily we have Pochettino as our manager and he's known for getting players fit, but he definitely has a ways to go in that regard.

100%! the training and game time in extreme heat will probably help him to as he’ll be working harder. Next week in ‘normal conditions’ hope to see more from him

There’s no need to be worried about a players fitness where Pochettino is concerned. If anything it’s a good thing as if he was this porky when he was playing for Lyon then I can’t wait to see him when he is fit.

His fitness is probably one of the reasons we were keen to bring him in early. It's not likely that he's unfit as such, just that he's not fit enough for a Pochettino system at the moment.

The slightly worrying aspect is that we've not yet brought in any of our other targets, and they're likely to be as ill-prepared as Tanguy is for our system. We can't afford a slow start if we want to compete at the top of the table.
