Is there an agreed sum yet or are different outlets reporting a bunch of different sums?
Agreed sum, seems like payment structure is what they’re working on now. Per Ally Golds latest twitter video.

I get that, but like, is there 1 set sum of like 65m or do different outlets still have different numbers for the final fee?

The consensus appears to be £2.50, a pack of polos, a used pair of Danielle Lloyd’s knickers and a quick handjob. We appear to be haggling over whether said handjob is delivered by a first team player or Levy, along with whether it should be contingent on a CL win...

Sources: Spurs close to signing Ndombele

Julien Laurens - France writer

Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is edging closer to signing for Tottenham, sources have told ESPN FC.

Talks between Spurs and Lyon progressed well this week and both clubs are optimistic that the deal will happen despite being yet to agree on a transfer fee.

Lyon want a package worth €80 million, including bonuses, but Spurs, who made an initial offer of €45m, are willing to pay €60m plus an additional €15m -- an offer which should be enough to secure the player.

The France international, who has been linked with several other top clubs sides including Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, has been keen to join Tottenham since speaking to manager Mauricio Pochettino and being won over by his project.

Pochettino was impressed by Ndombele's performances last season in which he helped Lyon finish third in Ligue 1.

A move to Champions League finalists Spurs will continue a notable rise for 22-year-old Ndombele, who was playing in Ligue 2 for Amiens two years ago.

Handjob from who? (I'm assuming Daniel?)

The best suggestion for a song for Tanguy has to be be The Lion Sleeps Tonight. (Can't claim credit for it, saw it a couple of times on Twitter.)

In the Tottenham, the mighty Tottenham, Tanguy loves us all;
In the Tottenham, the mighty Tottenham, he hates the Arsenal;
Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele.
Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele, Ndombele.

(Someone can probably come up with something catchier than I have for the purple bits.)

I remember PSG singing something to the same tune at Parc des Princes when I went a few times in the 90s (no idea what words they were actually singing) but it works as a chant.

Anyway, let's hope we get this deal over the line. I didn't dare dream that we'd get this particular transfer done, it'll be fantastic to see him in lilywhite.

I’m ducking out of the pronunciation debate. I’ve grammar policed my soul into oblivion- I’m a mere husk of the vibrant, popular soul people generally know me for.

Fuck the world

I know I’m somewhat ignorant when it comes to futbol players but I really need to learn how to pronounce this guy’s name. Don’t wanna make a fool of myself. So i decided to check out SC. Surely someone here would know.

I’m working on the surname before I break the news that his first name is pronounced “Ton-Gee”

I expect I am the first to inform you that here in Ireland the word "Gee" has two meanings.

One 'Gee' is half a horse as in "Gee Gee" or the American exclamation word Aw 'Gee'

The other use is with the hard G pronunciation as in phonetically 'Ghee' like the cooking grease

Ahem.. This is a vulgar name for a downstairs piece of the female reproductive area, often called 'fanny' and other names.

I think his name sounds like something you'd say drunkenly while trying to order a Tanqueray at the bar...

I'd recommend La donna è mobile for his song but perhaps it's not best to ask an English pre/post( :wacky:) Brexit team to learn Italian...:cautious:
