very glad we signed another winger as we only had two on the books with son and lucas. If one of them got injured we would struggle with not having that extra pace to bring on or use in rotation. He's a strong pacey player so hopefully will settle in well to the PL.

Ally Gold in his video today saying those within the club were talking about him freeing up Son to now play up top. So likely looking at Bergwijn-Son-Lucas for the rest of the year.
Moving Son up top was exactly what I'd hoped Bergwijn would allow us to do so it's fantastic to hear that it seems to be the plan. Lucas just hasn't performed over the past month whereas we've seen in the past that Son can be deadly as a No. 9.

For me we should move to a 4-3-3 with Dele starting nominally on the right but drifting into central areas with Aurier providing the width on that side. Lucas is best as a super-sub.

That’s an incredibly rapid front 3 and potentially quite exciting, but probably quite ineffective when playing against teams that sit back.
We’re going to heavily rely on our midfield to thread a pass, especially with Eriksen gone and we need NDombele fit ASAP and Lo Celso to keep up his good form.

Really want to see him dropped into the team to start tomorrow. Looks a powerful, low centre of gravity kinda player... I’d imagine, though, moura will start with stevie B taking over later. Dunno. Just feel he could be a special spurs player.

Good points. The idea of those 3 upfront is exciting.

I don't think Jose would risk him from the start, but he'll probably come on later on when we are chasing a goal.

After the FA Cup replay, we'll have 11 days or so for players winter break. Good time for Steven and Gedson to get to know their teammates and hopefully start adapting the game plan that Jose wants to implement.

I‘ve said this before but I really don’t think we can play Ndombele and Lo Celso in a midfield two, especially if you’re gonna play Dele behind Kane and two out and out wingers.

We will be absolutely dominated and bullied in midfield.

Ideally we need to play 4-3-3 with another midfielder in alongside Ndombele and Lo Celso and Dele dropped or if we are playing Dele I can only see us using one winger when Kane back up top.

Would be good in Mourinho can get the above to work but we haven’t shown we can so far.

I think the biggest problem Dele has is that he slows the ball down too much.

But if we are planning to play a very compact 4231 which would look more like a 3331 with Aurier up higher, then we may not need an anchor in the middle. It would be like playing GLC and TD just in front of the back line with the ability to play through a press and hit the front players very fast.

Hope the calf issue isn't a problem. This goal and the overall win will do wonders for his confidence.

Other than his quality goal, was pretty quiet but showed little glimpses of what we can expect. Can't wait to see him full on, with Kane up top. Think he has a massive future. COYS!!!

Steeeeevvvvvviiieee!!

The pure delight on his face was brilliant! Imagine that feeling, scoring that goal, in the stadium, in your first game, against Man City!

Amazing, and I’m totally jealous!
