See, I think it is. He looks like a match winner, can contribute a moment of play that can change a game. We need more of those. He did talk a lot of nonsense at times but something Redknapp said which has always stayed with me "you can never not have enough match winners in your team".

The ones we have: Dele, Son, Lucas seem to do it in fits and starts, the other might be out for the season, and the one we had, we just sold and had been turd for a while. So I think it is quite important in that regard.
I agree match winners are a dime a dozen ( I think that’s the saying lol) it’s why I don’t get the Alli hatred that’s become toxic in here.

Any that being said Lo Celso Ndombele Sessegnon have potential to be match winners I’ve always thought Lamela is too.

A main striker and DM to sure up our leaky defence one could argue were more pressing ..clean sheets are also important.

23 a bit of a weird choice for a winger but hey ho if that’s the number he wanted...

I'm gonna be brave and say this kid will make a huge impact from the off.

About time we had a player that did that.

Jesus Christ this thread is a mess. How about we give the guy time to settle before claiming he’s gonna he world class. Cuz I’m sure a few below appearances from him when we lose and I’ll be logging in here to read how he’s ‘not up to it’ or ‘another flop from crap league’ similarly to how Sessegnon, Lo Celso and NDombele have been written off at different stages this season ?

Two of Bergwijn, Son and Lucas wide with Lo Celso or Lamela between them have potential.

Really looking forward to see what Bergwijn can do.

Or, as some as have already started to state, 'he's fat.'
