Great touch and finish. Took lucas chipped pass perfectly on his chest. He had a fraction of a second to make that decision and get his shot away. Loved how he was celebrating before it hit the net. Chuffed for stevie, lads were as well

Although it was nice to see him get a goal, we really shouldn't have exposed him to football so soon after his arrival. We have a duty of care to our players and I bet he hasn't even completed his 'health and safety in the workplace' assessment.

I would have recommended a gradual exposure to crowd noise over a six month period, culminating in a 5 minute run out at the end of a pre-season friendly in Ulan Baator. Then a months recovery.

When Rose made his comments about having to Google signings, I think we all laughed or thought he was out of line. But I think it indicated a somewhat larger point that of course the players follow signings nearly as closely as we do.

When a signing comes in and performs early it’s massive for squad morale and belief. The players love to see a new signing make an impact. Just look at the response to Bergwijn’s goal today, the celebration was absolutely massive. Really good to see.

I get what you're saying but Rose was still massively out of line and also made himself look like a right nob. If you're gonna make comments mouthing off about having to Google players you'd better be David Beckham levels of famous yourself. Hate to break it to Danny but he's far from the global household name he obviously thought he was at the time.

From what I've seen so far, like his initiation video where he was stood on his chair in the canteen rapping, to the pure joy in scoring his goal, he already seems popular among the squad.
He seems to have settled in really quickly, probably helped by being fluent with the language, having his family come over with him and being seemingly a nice bloke.
Really happy with that as a debut!

The joy on his face was brilliant, debut goal in front of the single tier stand with an absolute peach, it's what dreams are made of.

Have to say it gave me goosebumps a little.
