So he should be back in UK by 14th latest. 2 weeks isolation 28th ( ruling not actually confirmed yet) They are talking about June 8th which seems pretty unlikely to me. But I don’t really see any issues if he has to play then he’s a naturally fit guy anyway.

It was really special. I think something it its favour was how unique it was - there were plenty of long-distance screamers, insane techniques, but no others where someone managed to run the entire length of the pitch and beat countless opponents to score.

And it was recent as well so it's still fresh in peoples memories. It was an absolutely amazing goal though, so I can't really argue with it being chosen.

Unpopular opinion, I thought Ayew's goal for Palace the week after was better.

Sonny's goal lost in an early round to a Le Tissier goal against Newcastle in '93 that was pretty special.

Hopefully this has done him good, he's always been a talented player but I feel the one thing he's always lacked is a bit of discipline and a bit of focus. Kicking out and getting silly cards, whinging etc. His personality is a big part of what makes him loveable but he sometimes seems a bit too interested in fucking around, maybe this will have matured him a bit and he can go up to the next level.
