Sonny needs to get his arse back here rapid. Corona virus is starting to spread rapidly in South Korea . Just our luck if he ends up in quarantine .

Was just about to post this. What were we even thinking sending him there at this time? That part of the world is, unfortunately, very dangerous at the moment and now right when Son gets there, South Korea has an outbreak and 1000+ are infected. Seems an unnecessary risk to be taking and one that might keep him away for alot longer.

Yes, but no need to exaggerate this. An outbreak of 1000+ infected in South Korea, okay. But in Norway alone (with a population of only 5 mill) aprox 900 people die each year of ordinary flu! ? I think Son will survive the Corona virus. It just takes some time to recover. In the meantime we just have to use Parrot and park the bus! ? ? ? ⚽

Korean media reporting he underwent surgery in Seoul on Friday. "Son had metal plates and pins inserted to hold the fractured radius in the arm. He will remain hospitalized through the weekend and remain in South Korea for further treatment. He will likely miss the rest of the Premier League season."

I broke my arm (radius) when I was younger, very stoned, and fucking around with a power kite.

It hurt a bit...that's all I've got.

It's not about surviving the virus, it's a small thing like being stuck in the country if they want to stop the spreading via travel.

Which seems a good enough reason for him to keep his ar*e where he is. It would be typical Spurs to be the only club in Europe to be hit by the Covid-9 virus.

I think we need to keep fears of the coronavirus in perspective.

Son is in Seoul which is 150 miles away from the centre of their outbreak. I believe there may be a few cases in the capital but hardly a risk right now in a city of 10 million. Besides which, Son is a national treasure so will be extremely well protected. (And even if he did get the virus, it is only really dangerous for the elderly or those with existing medical conditions, certainly not to an athlete in his prime).

Worst case scenario is he may have to be isolated for a few weeks once he returns to the UK which will anyway be long before he will be able to play again. (There may well be as many cases in London by the time he gets back anyway).

If this all means he gets the best possible medical care on the arm, (bearing in mind that he has already fractured this arm in the same place before so may well be going back to the same specialist which would make sense), and gets to spend some time back home, then I think it is fair enough.

Neither the club nor the player will take any risks.

Returning to the uk next week according to the Mail and a couple of other news outlets.

I don’t see any reason he can’t keep up his core fitness. Can pretty much do everything as long as no contact. Which is obviously a bonus over a normal injury.

So...Sonny has been in S Korea for a couple of weeks and self isolates on his return. Fair enough . But Tom Dick and Heung who live in South Korea, and have booked a weekend break in London , can come over and attend the Wolves match and then go home.
