No one seems to consider that Sessengnon can play in Son’s position on the left either as part of a front 3 or in a 3 behind a 9. He’s definitely got an eye for goal

That maybe true but thus far he's looked some way short of the required quality. I'm sure he'll get there, but he doesn't appear to be an obvious solution at the moment.

Exactly. It only takes 6 weeks for a bone to heal. With a cast he'd be fine.
Are their rules on players wearing casts now, can only think of Cantana playing with a cast? I guess it also depends which part of the arm is broken.

Somewhat of a side concern, but who is our penalty taker now?

Alli has taken a couple in the past, but never seemed to relish it. I think both Bergwijn and Lo Celso took them for PSV and Betis, respectively. But it is somewhat slim pickings.

How many games has Son played as a striker under Jose?
I don't really understand why so many are asking for some old shitter of a striker on a free.
Thankfully, we signed Stevie B and we also have Sessegnon, both can cover for Son so we'll just shuffle the deck and carry on playing without a striker, like we have been doing.
I'd rather play what we've got, than waste money on some useless free agent.

Some fans are just obsessed with transfers.

Dortmund beat PSG tonight with this front three

Haaland 19yo
Reyna 17yo
Sancho 19yo

Mbappe on the other side won the WC when he was 18.

That's not to say Parrott is as good as any of them, or ever will be. But being 18 is no good reason not to play him on its own.
Fati started for Barca at 16 too. Trouble is Parrott hasn't even made the bench yet. I think he needs some off the bench appearances before we can tell that he's ready.

Good point, think Lucas took a couple for PSG.

He has and got a few minutes against Burnley (I think) at home

That wasn't their front 3. Hazard (Not that one) played on the left - He's 26.

Reyna came on as a sub as a central midfielder. Beautiful assist for the second goal from that lad.

I didn't realise until last night that Dortmund are basically playing Football Manager with the Regens switched on. Two second generation footballers in Reyna and Haaland.

Son really didn't convince with his penalties, bearing in mind he only scored 1 in the last 2 (yes, he got the follow up but he still missed the penalty).

I wouldn't really feel confident with Moura or Dele either.

Lo Celso has the look of a good penalty taker, but who knows.

God I miss Kane.

Gio took them at Betis I think. Got to be him.

Not Dele. He's absolutely try to do something needlessly fancy.
I don't think he would. But he's a very emotional player and I could see that getting to him. He's scored a few from memory but they've always been quite close calls - just no close enough to the corner.

With no Sissoko, Kane or Son for most of or all of the rest of the season, this is what were

Lloris
Aurier Alderweireld Sanchez Davies
Winks Lo Celso
Gedson Dele Bergwijn
Lucas

I don’t think it’s that bad personally.

read that a bit too quickly and thought you had Gazza at center forward.....when we all know he is best as a number 8

Players tend to play with a cast on when they’ve broken/fractured their wrist. Son apparently has broke his arm in the elbow region. That’s a different ball game.
