With both Son and Kane injured, I wonder who'll be our player of the season. No one really who's had a full good season - perhaps Harry Winks is the closest, even Bergwijn with just half a season might be in with a shot.

It's really there for the taking. If a player puts some for, together then really it'll be his.

Up for all to take IMO

When young talented players get their chance, through injury or any circumstance, they often step up. Throw Parrott in, he’ll be surround by speed and movement with Moura, Stevie B, Sess, Lamela. It’s a perfect opportunity.

Who knows, Aurier might find him with a cross....way too optimistic hey?

We do have another youngster who is built for the PL. He is physically ready. I think he has more potential. Why is no one talking about him?

No one seems to consider that Sessengnon can play in Son’s position on the left either as part of a front 3 or in a 3 behind a 9. He’s definitely got an eye for goal

He will be back by the start of April wearing a protective cast. Jose is over egging the situation to try and get a reaction from players, fans etc.

Exactly. It only takes 6 weeks for a bone to heal. With a cast he'd be fine.

Jose's siege mentality. He did that at Chelsea. "No one likes us" (true there tbf) "referees are against us" blah blah. But it did work for his Chelsea Team then.

They did however, have a striker or two (Drogba, Forsell, Gudjonssen and Kezman plus Cole, Robben, Duff and Fat Frank), which we appear to be lacking in...

I have heard some many Spurs supporters wingeing, time to stop and look at the positives. Firstly a chance for all to unite under the common good for THFC and support Jose and the team with looove and affection, and maybe a new staircase, and importantly let them know it. Secondly encourage players to step up and be counted and fight with their arms to stay on the 4th floor, donations of prosthetic limbs welcome, and maybe with help from their dicks they can clamber up to the 3rd. Lastly gain spiritual enlightenment through player and supporter bonding inviting Dan the man to join one and all in cold communual showers to clense our soils, sorry souls, to fight against all the injustice and resentment shown by one and all after we have won the CL. Simple, now where did I puy my pills.

With no Sissoko, Kane or Son for most of or all of the rest of the season, this is what were

Lloris
Aurier Alderweireld Sanchez Davies
Winks Lo Celso
Gedson Dele Bergwijn
Lucas
_____________________________________

Parrott
Sessegnon Ndombele Lamela
Skipp Dier
Cirkin Vertonghen Foyth Tanganga
Gazzaniga

I don’t think it’s that bad personally.

It’s 100% this. I just watched his press conference and that so obviously comes out. The quotes have been posted in this thread already but watching him say it, from the analogy to the asking the home fans to get behind the team to calling out Leipzig and Chelsea not liking playing us.

I bet he’ll have the players really pumped up for the next run of games.

How many games has Son played as a striker under Jose?
I don't really understand why so many are asking for some old shitter of a striker on a free.
Thankfully, we signed Stevie B and we also have Sessegnon, both can cover for Son so we'll just shuffle the deck and carry on playing without a striker, like we have been doing.
I'd rather play what we've got, than waste money on some useless free agent.

Yeah, quite possibly. Although out until April is still a disaster as we have a lot of tough games between now and then.

Sorry if pedantic...

That depends on the bone, the person's age and medical history, mechanism of injury, severity and chosen treatment. Some fractures, even in young healthy people, might require months or even a year of physical therapy, while others leave permanent sequelae.

A undislocated proximal radius fracture, that has completely spared the radial head (neck of radius/ collum radii) is usually treated conservatively with a week or two in a sling, followed by 6 weeks of gradual increased movement with no resistance or weights.
An operative approach is usually only if one has found large dislocated fragments, angle >20° or mechanically blocked movement. This means absolutely no load for six weeks, the gradual increase of activity.

Tl;dr: might take 6w, might be significantly longer

Edit: dont need a cast for neck or head of radius
Edit 2: no if about it - clearly pedantic

On top of this about a month in a players recovery after a long injury is just regaining fitness. There’s absolutely no reason Son can’t be doing no contact training from next week to keep up his core fitness. Which means you’re just waiting on when contact is ok. Impossible to believe that could be 3 months. As said I’d expect to see him back for April.
