Hopefully we now just push Alli up front. Play LoCelso at no.10, NDombele (if he's fit enough) or Gedson alongside Winks in CM.

I really feel if Alli is given that role upfront he will bang in enough goals to keep us ticking over.

agreed but the problem is we don't have many other natural tried and tested goal scorers. We are going to struggle, big time IMO.
With Kane out for a long period this was always a case of when not if another injury to an existing striking option would occur.
Going to be tough now the club are in a difficult situation with such limited options top four is probably an unrealistic expectation now.

This is devastating news, yes. But let's not overreact just yet. I'm sure Jose will find a way to mitigate matters. Time for others to step up, we are down to bare bones up front yes, but we do have alternatives. COYS

He’s been pretty wasteful though recently when presented with good chances.

If Jose can get us to finish top six and through to the next round of the CL and the latter stages of the FA Cup without both Kane and Son then he really is a genius. Or jammy fucker. You decide.

Stevie, Lamela, Dele, LoCelso, Sess and Lucas will hopefully be up to the job, although Jose will have to adapt a new system for this to work. All of these players can score goals given the opportunity and we have been wasteful in front of goal so the chances are being created.

No ideal solution here. I don't think they are going to rush Parrott in, he might make a few sub cameos at best.

Even if he played there for Betis, I think Lo Celso is too important further back.

Dele, Lucas and Bergwijn will interchange.

If Dele is allowed to just float around up top in around the box, he'll get goals, probably our best option right now.

Let’s just chop his arms off and sow them back on at the end of the season. We only need his legs and feet. Less chance of a handball as well.

Yea I think I he can do a job as false 9 with bergweign and Lucas running past him and lo celso n.o 10, spot on. Or gedson could play n.o 10 as he did that vs villa when he came on for dele and lo celso stayed as n.o 8.

we have options especially if lamela is back fit but we are threadbare thin and worry is that we’ll pick up more injuries if players get run into the ground.

proper survival mode season, if Jose gets us 4/5th with this squad and all the injuries etc then it’s an absolute miracle and amazing achievement.
