He is an incredibly frustrating player but although he is very selfish and wasteful he is a 100% match winner and priceless to us.

Absolutely. In January we were being linked with low level strikers and players from abroad who would take time to settle in to resolve our current striker problem.

I said in the short term Son would be better than the options we were being linked with. He is frustrating with not passing and he isn't good at holding the ball up but he gets goals and I maintain that for this season he would have been better up front for us than Piatek, Ighalo or the other players we were being linked with.

He is frustrating and always will be but still one of the best players in the league. Even has decent number of assists this year somehow.

The good thing is he's still coming up with goals in his "bad form" he used to go barren for a month or two. When he gets back to full form it'll be great.

took his chance when it mattered. camera angle was perfect, across the 6 yard box straight at Sonny - he knew it was in as soon as he hit it.

It happened before half time, he came out after half time and wasn't moving his arm much when he ran at the outset but I'm sure they would have assessed him properly before the 2nd half started...

If he's injured though, that's a bit of a fucker.

Fucking hell. I said he’d get injured after we didn’t buy a striker. Knew it, FFS

A lot of respect for him carrying on in second half on Sunday and then scoring too. He must have been in a lot of pain.
