Frightening to think of the lack of pace, energy and creativity we'd be watching without him.

Not to demean Son at all as one of our most important players, but personally I’d have faith Sessegnon could prove an able deputy.

Which is why I was puzzled as to why we would possibly have considered loaning him as surely during Christmas period he should be either rotated or at least subbed on for Son to preserve him?

Where did you see we considered loaning him?

Just going on reports that were going around, who knows if they were true or not (I’d certainly hope they weren’t and Jose wasn’t that short sighted).

We were supposed to have pulled plug after Davies got injured, but hopefully just lazy journalism as I wouldn’t even have Sessegnon as left back cover at moment as more a winger for me.

Mourinho has already stated that he sees Sess as a forward option and his options for LB are Rose, Verts, Aurier and young Cirkin.

He also said Sess and others will get opportunity soon.

Jesus, those lot need to sort themselves out.
Unironically this.

If you're at a point where you can say with a straight face that your favourite football player is the meaning of your life, it's time to wander off into the nearest forest with nothing but the clothes on your back and stay there for several months to reevaluate every aspect of your entire life.

I mean, I fucking love Harry Kane. He's my favourite player of all time. I'd travel 200 miles up the ass end of shit city to watch him play in the National League North every weekend. But my day-to-day devotion to the man consists of a quick search for news updates every evening and penning the occasional essay about him on a site like this.

That video typifies everything I try to help people avoid when I advocate for a healthy relationship with football.

Crazy. It’s like the Beatles or Tendulkar in India.

One thought that often occurs to me when watching people travel thousands of miles just to see one footballer play : what if they get there to find he’s not playing? :D

I go through that emotion most weeks with my fantasy team. It's not nice.

Son is almost getting to that legendary status of our club. He's up there with the biggest names Spurs have had. Whether he wins something with us or not, he will be forever remembered and loved.

COYS!
