Sonny just scored penalty for S Korea , that should add a few more Sonny fans on to the queue for the next PL members ticket sale on 25th.

No, no, haven't you seen on 'X' that Sonny is done, half the player he was, no one will be queuing up for tickets to see him!! Some proper weird takes, despite his 6 g+a in 8 matches this season, seems stats don't matter.

Last Saturday morning went to the Spurs shop to use my £20 voucher that we get instead of the old ST/members gift pack, arrived at 9:30 when it was supposed to open there was about 20 of our Korean fans all queuing to get in , opened 10 minutes late , will have to speak to Daniel about it. :)

You can throw all the stats at it if you like, but the truth is Sonny isnt the player he was a few years back. Doesn't mean he's not a good player, or will chip in with plenty of goals, but he's on his slow downward spiral. Pretty evident to see.

I'm not doubting that, but he's not "done", he's not passed it, he's still one of, if not our best player!!

Does that not illustrate just how average we are when you’re suggesting a largely ineffective 32 year old is our best player. No wonder why we sit mid table.
He's still incredibely effective though. Three best players of current leader are also over 32 years old so no idea what would his age show either

He's not done but he's certainly not in his prime and surely anyone who watches the games can see that he's been extremely lacklustre for a while now, bar the odd purple patch or moment.

I love him and he's been a great servant and role model but I don't expect much when he receives the ball these days. I personally think he's better played in a free role, not upfront on his own but playing off someone. That LW position is not him anymore, unfortunately.

Remarkably consistent top-notch output regardless of manager. And interestingly better output under Ange than the Pochettino era of which most remembers him more fondly. #NotOut

Probably as he arrived under Poch and had that initial first season bedding in and also was out injured for a while just as started hitting his stride (he then came back and wasn’t quite as good).

From second season onwards he hit his stride.

they do like an early arrival. My first event when I worked there was a breakfast event. I tuned up 45 mins before the published time for registration, to set things up. The room was already half full. I didn't cut it so fine after that

He is club legend, but nowadays every time we start him, chances are it's 10 vs 11. If he isn't content at supersub role, it's time to move for both Son and clubs sake

No chance Levy will want to let him go unless Yang makes it. I think super sub is the most likely path for him in the coming years.

We need his replacement asap because he isn’t good enough anymore. He’d be pretty useful as an impact sub off the bench while he’s fresh and in cup competitions against weaker sides where his general play won’t show up as such a weakness but I believe his days as a starter for us should be over now.

Do you think Som will accept being super-sub? I don’t think he’s ready to accept that path himself.

If he saw that coming, I think he’d be off to a league where he could prolong his career.

I don't expect much from him when he gets the ball these days. Hasn't been good enough for far too long, a great servant and I'd absolutely love to see him lift a trophy here but he isn't the player he was and a spell on the bench might do him good. We desperately need a couple of real threats on the wings, Son isn't that game changer anymore and Johnson is a goal threat but offers very little else. Should've addressed this in the summer.
