Despite the injury, he looks very tired and he surely needs a break. Should spend the international break in London.

There’s a video of the team arriving yesterday and he’s not there so it’s not a big secret.
Hadn't seen that.

Bit of a blow.

I'd play Maddison in his place, and solidify the mids with a 'BBK' selection- sounds like a decent burger

I really hope he’s back after the IB.
He’s been ‘close’ it seems, so hopefully no issues during the break 🙏🏻

No love for Sonny today?

Have a feeling he's going to go on a run of goals now. Just needed that confidence to shift it and hit it. Good to see him fit and back on the scoresheet.

He looked a lot more relaxed in the highlights i saw even before he scored, not sure if thats because he felt he had the beating of his defenders so felt comfortable but either way hope it carries through for the next run of games.

You can tell the rest and recovery definitely helped him massively. Hopefully that's what he needed to get his mojo back and just in time for one of his elite purple patches.

Yeah, I was beginning to think that he wasn't getting involved enough and then in typical Sonny style, he proved me wrong again.
Thought he was more like the old Son again and it's nice to see him shooting and facing his man up again.
Sarr deserves credit for that pass and it was like a flashback to the Kane and Son show.

It's good to have him back because for all that Timo does well, he's just not a very good footballer and his confidence looks so low that he can't seem to even control a ball anymore.
I'm hoping a goal changes that but at present, as much as I like the bloke, I'd be sending him back in January.

Reminds me of when Kane was saying his injury was a blessing as gave him a rare rest period
