After completing the training course, Son still has to undertake 544 hours of community service over the next 34 months.

Just seen this in the article :banghead: Poor guy cant catch a break
To be fair he has it pretty easy compared to others
3 years to complete community service can be easily done over a summer or 2 without an international tournament

Hopefully this has done him good, he's always been a talented player but I feel the one thing he's always lacked is a bit of discipline and a bit of focus. Kicking out and getting silly cards, whinging etc. His personality is a big part of what makes him loveable but he sometimes seems a bit too interested in fucking around, maybe this will have matured him a bit and he can go up to the next level.
How much higher are you expecting him to go exactly? For me he's been our best player over the past 18 months, led the team when Kane was out multiple times. How many better wingers/wing forwards are there in the world than him? Mane, Salah Hazard, Messi, Neymar, Sterling, Silva? I'd say thats it and its arguable between all of those but Salah, Hazard, Messi & Neymar.

Only as high as he's capable, which for me is the very top. I still feel he's a level below world class. He's a very, very good player but he burns hot and cold. That's what I mean when I say he could benefit from a better focus. The difference between winners and losers. Some may not want to hear it but we have too many losers. Talented losers, but losers all the same.

Give him an air rifle and he'll do more damage to the cockerel than Gazza did.

If you give Gazza an air rifle, you'll have to give him a bottle of whiskey too so that he can shoot straight; much like the Lee Marvin character in Cat Balou.
