If he'd sort his finishing out then he'd be some player.

Clearly is a striker of great intelligence and awareness but just needs that bit of composure that comes from confidence.

Agree, and that video is essential viewing for his critics. He's got a wonderful touch, especially for a forward. Always looking to bring others into play from deep, and set up Paulinho with cracking through ball.

JUST needs to find the back of the net. But if he keeps getting played sporadically, it'll be tough for him now to break into form.

Bob and Ade together would be ideal if possible.

That video only proves his critics correct, he doesn't take his chances.

He has wonderful skills, but he was bought to score goals, and he hasn't done it. He had the first half of the season, he didn't do it. Ade came in and has been undroppable since. For a 28 year old, and his price he is disappointing.

Threw this together. All his touches v Dnipro.

He may not be getting the goals that we all want him to (himself included) but there are some absolutely class moments of football in that video. For people to write him off as a flop or a shit footballer is simply incorrect and majorly premature.

Great vid mate.

And that's what he's done his entire career. Frankly, most people have been quite surprised by the quality of his all-round play and his skills, so surely we should be patient and do everything we can as a club to help him re-discover the goalscoring form he's always shown, whilst being happy that we appear to have also bought a far more well-rounded striker than many of us thought?

Hope he starts today, fancy him to score, oddly.
Their strikers have missed alot of chances this season and our strikers are capable of continuously missing the target, this could be one really really boring match!

I cant believe people are questioning by saying he doesn't do anything!

Hope he plays today to give Ade another week
to recover from a widely reported 'knock'.
Played with confidence and skill on Thursday
and another couple of starts would do him the world of good.

The matches I been to, I noticed that Soldado makes so many selfless runs that never get picked up and it wound me up as one decent ball and he was through but I didnt notice that on the tele

I don't see it. I didn't see it before we bought him, and I haven't seen anything to change my mind. Soldado just does not have the tools to succeed in England. Nothing he does is enough to constitute starting him in the premiership. His passing is good, but not good enough to warrant a start. He is meant to be a highly accomplished finisher, yet can't hit a barn door if the ball was already touching it.

Love him to prove me wrong, but I thought that Soldado would be a terrific waste of money before we bought him, and he has actually performed way below even my expectations.

Good player, at the wrong club, playing in the wrong league.
