It was similar when we signed Lo Celso. The pundits didn't seem to know anything about him and he barely got much mention. They just don't have much knowledge outside of the Premier League and the absolute top players like Messi.

He’s such a embarrassment. You don’t have to “know” anything about him to know he’s talented. You don’t go into the Real Madrid set up as a 8 year old and stay there until his age (obviously with some loans) and not be a very talented player. If I was being kind I’d say he’s so thick he meant to say “we don’t know how he’ll adapt” instead of saying “we don’t know if he’s any good.”

Timmeh and Rose should get together and google this lad. Frets.

Well, is anything he said wrong? We have seen a thousand times that players not necessarily hit the ground running in the PL, despite tearing it up in other leagues.
We've also seen players tear it up in one PL team and then not another.

It's just such a basic nothing thing to say. It really shows you haven't watched the player whatsoever if you can just say "oh well we'll have to wait and see" for every signing. Why even have shows like that discussing transfers if that's all you're going to offer?

Yet people cry when pundits like this are getting the sack.

It's fairly obvious some of them watch maybe 1 PL game a week and that's about it for their prep work. If that even. I remember last year a pundit was explaining that Sheffield are a sit ten men behind the ball and knock it long side when that's not at all what they are. It showed that the pundit had never watched the team play and basically just assumed that if they're getting promoted from the Championship then that must be what they are.

I think there's a possibility that Sergio is announced first, so lets all agree to something among us. No "wheres bale" and "announce bale" on social media posts if possible. Give the boy his moment.

Just like our fans when we get linked to a player like Sørloth, then.

Although this article is why Reguilon should join Utd, it's quite interesting nonetheless.
