What the fuck do we do in the EL now. Regi and Spence not registered and looked like a hammy for Udogie. If we don’t have any CBs back by then we’re fucked

The decision to not play Reguilon and Spence at the start of the season was so odd. Both have done well when needed and should have been rotated in more often, even if just off the bench.

Ange gets paid to manage the squad.
He hasn't done that.
He can have no complaints if he gets sacked.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

Surely there has to be more to this then Ange just being stubborn and not playing him, if not then yeah, its bad

It's poor from Ange for not using him until now. It's poor from recruitment for not finding us another LB last summer when anyone could see that we were lacking cover there.

He didn't look good, needs match sharpness. He did ok is all I can say really. We will need him involved now though. Unless we get someone in January.

He did ok but he is not the answer. Desperation having to play him really.
Agreed, but he is part of the squad. With that in mind, may as well find a way to use him. It's not like any of our fullback options have been so incredible you couldn't drop them.

I think it's poor man management on Ange's part, and with things like this in mind I don't think injuries are all down to bad luck.

Disagree, Regullion as your 2nd choice LB is a great option, he should have played more this season

Him or KWP is who you want as your 2nd choice LB

I think ange is refusing to play him to send a message to the board to give him the type of players he needs, not a squad full of leftovers from unsuccessful eras

Shooting himself in the foot though now with the injury pile up and could then blame those players anyway (already done it with Werner)
I suspect it is more the board sending a message to Reggie by telling Ange not to play him.

What’s all this “sending messages” business?

I very much doubt they work like that. It’s more straightforward..

He’s not part of the future of the club, they don’t want to waste time on him when it evidently takes a long time to get players to acclimatise to Ange’s way of playing, (and in some cases they never can), and Ange ain’t changing, so while he‘s boss, he’ll pick who he wants.

Whether we always agree with his choices is beside the point.

Exactly right. Whilst he’s not in his long-term plans, this is a huge injury crisis and he has to use what he has at his disposal. Playing Reguilon occasionally to prevent Udogie getting injured was the right thing to do.

He’s now bemoaning Udogie’s injury saying he hasn’t been able to rotate!! Well you could have…..
