Am I the PL squad submission list look up service or something?! :)

25 players in the squad last season, not including BLF

https://www.premierleague.com/news/3681595

EDIT: Ultimately we've registered Robson in the PL squad and not in the Europa squad, even though he would have been a free pick for the latter as he's club trained. That means one of the following things must be true:

1) we forgot Robson was no longer U21 when submitting the Europa squad; or
2) we decided he might be useful domestically but not in Europe; or
3) we had a choice not to register him in Europe but didn't have that choice domestically

You do have to register players in the PL if there's spaces and they're eligible.

Bit odd that he's there if he's not eligible. Maybe he's training well and Ange is willing to give him a shot in the EPL if needed. He changed his mind on Spence who seemed like he was done here.

He clarified that Reguillon is there to increase the "level of training". So essentially, to make up numbers in training drills as they don't have enough senior players to fill all positions.

Postecoglou on the squad he's brought and why Reguilon is here

Destiny hasn't travelled. Nothing significant, but didn't makes sense to bring him if he wasn't going to play. Radu is suspended and Sonny is back in London doing rehab.
Sergio [Reguilon] is a Tottenham player, that's why he's here. We like to have 20 players for training, we've also brought some young players. They had a game last night and we didn't want to disrupt them too much.

We’re a bit light in the LB department so might as well use him to give Udogie a rest.

He is not registered for Thursday, and is behind Spence, at best, for league matches.
I’m aware he’s not registered. What I meant was better to integrate him in training etc in general and not specifically the EL. Use him in cup games and in the PL in emergency situations. Spence can give Porro a rest on the right. Davies plays LCB and Reggie gives Udogie a rest and also prevents VDV having to play there.

Seems more like Gray is 2nd choice right back and Spence is 2nd choice left back.

I would hope that at some point this season Gray starts making appearances in midfield. In which case maybe Spence will shift over to be the back up right back and Reguillon could be the back up left back.

This isn’t the Archie Gray thread but at some point he is going to have to play in midfield and if Reguillon can help with that then I’m happy to give him a go. At least until January when the transfer window reopens.
