Alli Gold today - sorry of it´s already been posted:

Postecoglou made it clear to football.london on Friday that if Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon did not leave the club then that was their decision and would not affect his squad for the season ahead.

"No, they don't have to get integrated back to the squad. It's their decisions. It's pretty clear where they sit in terms of where we are as a squad and where we are as a team, but, you know, I've never been one to force people out," he said. "They've got decisions about their own careers and what they want to do, and if they're still here, they're still here. We'll work around that scenario, but it certainly won't affect the way we work in the first team."

Ange is doing what any good manager does. Clears out the negativity and wrong skillset and brings in a new team. He’s already decided Reggie isn’t part of that and he isn’t going to change his mind now. The fact that Reggie turned down a French loan today only confirms Ange is right.

Huh? According to Romano, Spurs were the ones who turned down the loan...

It's bizarre he's the only one we couldn't shift because he seems to have had good loans where ever he'd gone. I guess maybe the injury record has put clubs off

Turkish window closes tonight so it looks like he’s here til Jan

Not Turkish, however what is final date for euro registrations? That might affect interest of Turkish sides

(Seems registration deadline for european competitions is tomorrow)

Reportly on 53k a week and still can't shift him. I'm sure the club would take a free transfer. Fuck me what a disappointing signing

I remember the game during covid when he crossed for a bale header. I remember saying we finally had a left back who could cross a ball

Some parallels with Chelsea behaviour here - not to the same degree, but deciding the guy isn't for us and then not facilitating a way out for him.

He wasn't terrible at Brentford and we have no cover for Udogie. Unless there's some major inter-personal issue, it's surely not the worst idea to have him as left back cover til January.

Ange has already ruled that out.

Find myself feeling quite sorry for him. He was decent at both United and Brentford. Hope he gets a good move to Turkey and then back to one of the top leagues.

The question is why can't get a move ? I am guessing he has had opportunities but has turned them down for some reason.

Perhaps the interest from Barca was real enough for him to decline decent options to begin with and late on we turned down some (Lille?) for not being good enough and wait for interest from Turkey to materialize. Reckon he had some offers earlier on, but turned then down?

I don’t think it’s his ability that’s the problem. He’s not a world beater by any means, but he’s also not crap. He did ok at Brentford and wasn’t awful at United either, I think there’s some kind of work rate or attitude problem. He also doesn’t really fit the way we want to play now. Could be that he just doesn’t have the legs for the kind of work required too.

He must have really upset someone at the club.

He has never even been that bad on the pitch, he would be a perfectly ok back up left back.

When do squad lists have to be finalised, and do we have space for him? If so it would seem stupid not to at least give him a squad place if he's still here, have him on the bench for cover if/when Udogie ever gets injured or suspended.

Obviously we can't see behind closed doors, but I can't see Reggie as being someone who is either disruptive to the squad or a terrible trainer.
